Question for those with molle vests, i have one that i wore when working that the vest would bounce all over when i had to run, are there any keepers that will attach your molle to a duty belt to keep it from bouncing?

When adjusted correctly there should be minimum "bounce" they will move and it feels exaggerated because of the added weight. Sort of like running with a back pack on.

Right i know there will be some movement but i am trying to see if there is a way to eliminate 99% of it and it would seem to me some keepers would be a good idea

Sides are 6x8 and the front/back are 9x12 swimmer cut. They are all level IV 7.62 AP rated. These are identical to the ones the .gov issues.
My ex took them when we broke up, so I paid for them and her mom gave them back to me last month.

There is a rig pictured, Posting #619, on Page 16 of this thread.
The post was by Member: Half-Bear.

What brand of Plate Carrier is pictured?
It's sitting beside a S.O.E. Micro Rig.

Thank you,

Ronin01

Voodooo Tactical 'FAST' lattice carrier with level IV ceramic plates backed by level III soft armor. Blackhawk side plate carriers with level III soft armor inserts. Blackhawk, Voodoo Tactical, Condor and ALICE nylon pouches. The central flap pouch holds either my Taser or two extra rifle mags, depending on the op. Blackhawk modular padding added to shoulders. Condor single point sling.

Pistol belt with Safariland ALS on a low ride shank.

The modified PALS drop leg panel with Condor pouches is my active shooter grab and go. It hangs from a heavy duty key ring on a steel snap hook. The hook rides on my uniform duty belt. Holds 2 rifle mags, a tourniquet, Celox gauze and either an extra pistol mag or similar sized item.

Apologies for the poor pic quality

Thanks man
I've tried the IFAK on the side, but that's one of the shortcomings of this setup; limited side real estate. This carrier has rudimentary side protection with a significant gap, so I added the side plate carriers. But the side carriers are more in the rear/kidney area and when I mount the IFAK there its just about as inaccessible as it is in the center of my back and pokes out at an awkward angle.

So I compromised with the full IFAK containing large quick clot sponge, Israeli bandage, compressed gauze, bandaging, chest seal, scissors, etc., on my back and up front I have a celox 2"x10ft rapid clot gauze and a CAT. With the leg rig, I also have the smaller Celox ribbon and another tourniquet. So there's some stuff both front and back, and all clearly labeled for buddies to see, whether I end up face up, face down or on my side, and I can reach lots of clotting gauze and a CAT for self treatment.

But you've got me thinking about possibly moving my main IFAK from my back and dedicating the drop leg panel for medical only.

What's the pouch that's rigged to the shoulder strap on the plate carrier and why did you choose that location to attach it?

Seems like it would interfere with shouldering the rifle.

Could someone recommend a good, but basic neoprene battle belt? Probably will use 2 AR Tacos and 3 Pistol Tacos, IFAK, Dump bag, low-ride pistol holster (High drop leg level). A one stop shop would be ideal.

Just need a quick on/off for range, training, and instruction functions. No need to add a plate carrier at this time. PM if you don't want to clutter this thread. Thanks

I like Sig Academy's Adam Painchaud's setup here:

So the riggers belt is XL? I'm about a 36" waist on most pants and figured I would be okay with large on both.

So I'm looking for a plate carrier for my lady.... i recently got myself a Tactical Tailor carrier (LOVE IT! More on my setup later), but they don't make a Small size.

She's small frame (5'7" and size small or extra small in tees/tops), can anyone make any suggestion keeping in mind the plate size will probably need to be 8x10's I'm assuming....

Thanks

Maybe something like this would work. Have you had her try on your with a 10x12 plate setup?

Ditto on the comms set up. Also, something about the old woodland camo look on new gear that I like.
