Congrats. That's a beautiful knife. I'd get a tanker grey with green and black G10. What colors did you go with?

Tanker gray with black & tan G-10 handle. The $20 sale was too good to pass on. From the photos, the gray appears to show the highlights of the grind the best.
I've been using David Brown for my scabbards

I like his kydex products.
Who do you use?

Great choice. The corrugated bevel does look great in gray. I have three or four BB's (David Brown) and they are great. Rain Walker is also great.

I have a lot of AZwelke and he tends to make the fit really tight on classic shaped RES-C handles but they are always the same and can be loosened easy by inserting the knife handle not quite all the way and storing it like that for a while (a week or more). I have one Mashed Cat and it works too and seems like good quality.

I have a lot of SPEC OPS. The Combat Master is great if a knife is up to 8.25" long and not that wide (about 1.75"). Alot of Busse will not fit. I wish they would make a wider version. I have one of those Chop houses in route, so I am deciding what to do, either Brown or AZ.

That 711 bowie tip is one of my favorites of all and it is such a light knife compared to most SYKCO's. I really think it sets that knife off. The regular 711 and 911 are kind of boring.

As far as the best nice light 7" blades, it is that 711 and the Swamp Rat Tali Whackers (IMHO). Team Gemini's and Regulators are sweet, but they are heavy suckers too.

This Chop House is beefy but honestly it is not pretty, hahah. I'm chopping a log with it later to see if the ugliness pays off.

Tonight I asked a guy about his 711 bowie tip he had for sale last year and he sold it but has one more user, he said he's not selling that one. If I see any more I'll let you know but I exhausted my leads for now. Those aren't easy to find it seems. I lucked out flipping way back to old pages in the exchange and there was one listed pretty low and I thought it was long gone but he still had it.

I'm waiting for this new knife to drop with tax money burning a hole in my pocket, but no release date has been set yet-

Just to quench my thirst for the time being, I decided to order a pair of Bokers I've been eyeing a while

Sweet looking CF and grind with tanto. Is that a chisel grind?

I just found a Tali Whacker LE for a great price - non-coated polished version. My favorite Swamp Rat tanto. Should have it next week.

I havent seen any details other than a few sneak peeks on instagram but it appears to have a standard blade grind on both sides, and will be optional with Ti or CF scales and most likely finishes in silver, black, and texas tea. I'll wait till it comes out to decide but I really like the CF/silver combo. maybe CF/ texas tea gray...

Damn these knives get addicting

That Tali Whacker looks sweet! I've been avoiding the fixed blade rabbit hole for the sake of my wallet

What kind of lock is that? I was trying to figure if that was a button near the pivot of not. Maybe a liner lock?

I wasn't crazy about the looks or shape of the Chop house, but it definitely bites into and chops well for 17.85 ounces. So the ugly pays off. I like it. Comparing the grinds, I am glad I got the thick cut.

FedEx driver dropped this off today. Blade is a little slow. Needs to be broken in some. Still like my Chris Reeve Sebenzas for EDC.

Ratweiler came in. What a beauty. This is the 1/4" version in black/black micarta. If there was a knife I am glad I got both variations of this is it. Feels great, looks great. The 3/16" version should not feel too much differently - except it'll be sage and tan

Busse War Train Handcar LE and BG are posted (fat 4.5" blade)... and the TRASH2 - OAL 14.75" and 9.5" thinner stock blade looks nice. Some of you looking for a lighter big blade might want to check out the TRASH2. I really like the shape compared to the TRASH1. I already have an 1111 and a few Dog Fathers so none for me, though one in Moss Green would be different. You can get normal colors and the RES-C can be tan or black. Cool.

They are all on the Busse page:

Fiddleback Forge RUNT (bottom) and Strider PT (2nd to bottom). Getting stationed in Japan and since they only allow knives with blade lengths of 6cm ~ 2.4" I had to adjust the EDC's.

Sweet lineup. I'd love to see spine shots of those Striders and Grayman.
