Happy shooting!
Yes they do install BB prior to shipping and will send mags disassembled as long as your FFL approves. I ordered on Sept 1 and FFL signed FedEx on Sept 18. I would do business with Atlantic again.

$734 = shipped from Atlantic with BB install
$126.33 = Transfer + Tax + DROS
$860.33 Total

I didn't even notice it when I inspected it. I stripped out the carrier and bolt and inspected it but never noticed the piston not being pinned.

Should we worry about the gas piston eventually working its way off the carrier if it's not pinned?

What are the 6 parts out of the 16 countable parts needed for 922r compliance on the O-PAP? Changing out the piston seems like a lot more work than replacing the buttstock or handguards for US made wood. I guess the piston is a cheaper part but more labor.

I'm guessing the following, because everything else sounds like it's from Serbia. So unless I replace something else I can't replace the pistol grip to a surplus Yugo grip like one of the other posters on this thread has? Or I can use a US made magazine as one of the compliance parts.

(1) The slant muzzle break
(2) gas piston
(3) Trigger
(4) Hammer
(5) Disconnector
(6) Pistol grip

Yes if you want the pistol grip removed and your dealer is OK with this we will be glad to ship featureless simply outline this in the Order Notes section when placing the order .We are swamped with CA orders and doing our best to get them all out the door as quickly as possible.

Atlantic is getting my money, rg isn't here supporting and replying to questions.

Good Price and support from a company is the way I go in my book.

Can't wait to scrounge up the last few bucks to make my order.

RifleGear has some of the best customer service in Southern California. Oh and they are IN California supporting the local folks. Do not discount them just because they happen to miss your question. Don't take my word for it, go in and see for yourself. I'm sure 99.9% of people who have dealt with them will agree..just don't ask fastkevin.

Is there a way to adjust the rear sight? It is a little cockeyed to the left.

FWIW, Tapco mags do fit! Whether they properly feed is something I don't know (yet), but so far so good

LGS had these today in stock for 749 plus fees. Didn't seem too bad.
After reading through this thread my hope is that the AK market has been kinda dry because of sales to MD, and now that those are banned, maybe the market will free up a touch- just long enough for Jerry to make up his mind.

yep, bought mine from classic city when they had them in stock. Their Saiga iz132 prices are also competitive. bullet button installed and shipping add on $40. I've also ordered rebuild kits from them no problem ($0.10 fee to disassemble)

Thanks guys!
Lovin the way this thing is built, it's a tank!!

Probably won't be able to give her a run for about two weeks but I will for sure give my report back.

Stock and hand guards match well, gonna refinish a nice glossy stain a bit darker.

It is a great rifle - I love mine.

It's available at AIM Surplus LINK for $529.95 - A great deal compared to the $675 I paid for mine.

I refinished the wood and added a rear sling mount. I noticed my receiver was cut for a double hook trigger so I dropped a Tapco G2 double hook trigger that I had in my spare parts and replaced the shepherds hook retaining spring with a Hammer and Trigger Pin Retainer Plate.
