Just bought an older Glock 19 off my brother for 300$ cash including a bunch of magazines, original case, and cleaning kit, He never used it, so the only wear it has is from playing with it, I added a pearce mag extension grip, and a grip plug (feels ALOT better holding it now, since my fingers dont hang off).

I kinda want to get the lower frame dura coated in OD green, I can get it done locally from armoryairbrush.com for $55 in basically any color i want

Also, does anyone know if they make tactical lights that fit the older glock, since i dont have the rail to attach one??

The best method is to purchase the CAA rail that will let you use any tactical light and it dows not perminantely modify your gun.

Hey all....one of my friends got bored and figured out he's good with soldering iron tips. Did a little grip work on my Glock 19. This was a NIB gun I picked up back in January, I've done a few minor upgrades:

-Heinie Straight 8 sights
-LWD 3.5 connecter
-grip work
-Jentra grip plug

Here's the pics of the grip work:

Overall view:

Closeup of the right side, I wanted a "snake skin" type pattern, I like it. And he cut off the finger grooves that I despise.

Backside:

He also did some work on the underside of the trigger guard. I have a weird middle finger knuckle. And it's been smoothed out to avoid Glock finger after extended range sessions. There's two little diamond patterns in there too:

I shoot thumbs forward, and this is where my thumbs sit. The checkering is on both sides.

Simplicity... but I have a very, very special place in my heart for this particular Glock.

I like the GM magwell, it helps balance the weight of the pistol. I have not tried the ICE magwell yet but I want to build up a G17 or G22 for Open. I shoot Minor, I have'nt looked deep into USPSA rules as far as if you can shoot 9mm in Major, prob depending on power factor maybe you can. I do know some guys that shoot .40 in Major.

Just bought a glock 19 and can't be happier! I have trijicon night sights, 3.5# ghost connector (a world of difference!,) and extended slide stop lever and some bad *** grip that works amazing. Also picked up a Blackhawk Serpa holster (which I also love!)

How do you like the glock 29? I am considering picking up either a G29 or G20 but can't make up my mind. I like the looks of the G29 slightly more but am wondering if it is a lot more uncomfortable to shoot than the larger G20 due to size?
