Default AR Pistol gallery thread 2.0

I don't really post much but here's my latest toy (please enjoy my duvet cover in all its glory as well):

PSA Afghan stripped lower (always been a pistol)
PSA Marauder upper
Auto bcg
BCM charging handle
Bushnell red dot
Kak shockwave adjusted all the way out because I'm 6'4"
Magpul AFG
Basic amazon $20 LED
2 point sling

Not as loud as I thought it would be but so much fun.

And because everyone needs some good friends...

You can also run a VFG since these come in at 26.1 inch OAL. Some gunshops say these are 28 inches OAL but that's not true. You are legal by ATF standards.

I was told that you can only count your buffer tube and muzzle if it's pinned for OAL.

I don't count my muzzle. That's with it off as per ATF. With it on OAL is 28 inches but that doesn't count because it's not permanent.

I also don't count the brace because that's not permanent. Again, that gives you the OAL of 28 inches which is not accurate.

Whats your barrel length? I have a 10.5 and it is just a bit under 26 inches. If I pin my muzzle to make it >26" I would be gtg for VFG.

11.5 inches is my barrel length. You should be good to go pinned.

Last i heard of them having it was in March 2017. At this point maybe just the 3rd party sites will have them. Idk of any that carry them currently.

https://flic.kr/p/YyyTRr

finally got mine painted. thinking of changing my zero to a 25 yard zero. originally had it to about 50, since anything within range would just be slightly low. tried to shoot out to 25 yards and groups weren't great. figure 25 and in would be better vs 50 and in. these were from 10 yards. haven't been able to get last round bolt hold open to run consistent. seem to have to be pushing up on the mag for it to lock back.
