Last time I stopped by TR&P they had one of these in the LEO shelf (white rhino 50ds if memory serves). The SAO exemption is your only option since you can't really extend the barrel length easily. The problem with a single action conversion is you need to replace the DA sear and that is buried in a veritable clockwork of mechanics inside the grip. There is only one shop in Southern California I'm aware of that can do the conversion and they really hate doing it because of how difficult it is. The cost is something like $300-400 for them to touch it last I checked.
Hopefully Chiappa will get this listed because it certainly is a cool piece.
