Just enjoying a relaxing Saturday and I thought I would check to see if anyone who took a gamble on this shady longshot has gotten package or (any other surprises) yet?

OP here. I got my notice if shipping Mar 21, with a 12-18 day time frame. Today should be day 16, assuming calendar days. If it's working days, it's probably going to be a bit longer. Especially if it has to sit in Customs, since it's coming from Germany.
I figure at least another week. Though I wait for the mail person every day.
Of course, all this is predicated on there actually being something shipped.

Day 16.
Saw this deal on Facebook (I have a friend who orders stuff off those FB ads all the time & has never had any issues). I took a chance & ordered one on 3/17. Got my shipment notification 3/24. Still nothing. I never read anything about shipments coming from Germany either

Website states in their FAQs:

- Where do your products ship from?
Our company is located in Brooklyn, NY.
Mostly all products ship from our facility in Gaylord, Miami

I ordered on 3/26. Received shipping notification on 3/29. My notification stated 14-21 business days (similar to other items I've ordered from overseas).

So, if the same timeline applies... you received shipment notification on 3/24. That puts delivery sometime between 4/7 & 4/14.

I'm holding out hope.

I received my 12-18 business day notice on Mar.21. Assuming business days are Mon - Fri, and that it got mailed on the 22nd(day after the notice) then this is the 17th day for me.

Because I don't think anyone's reported Credit Card issues I think they're fishing for information to possibly do a tax refund scam.

I have NO actual facts to back that up other than the time of year and every other suspicious thing mentioned in this thread.

Nothing yet, I already got my refund so they're going to have an awful hard time trying to get anything more from the government, but I still have hopes for a package within about seven days or so. Otherwise my credit card is going to get reverse charge and I'm going to see if I can cancel the card as well as get credit check don't need.

But that was from Ed McMahon so I don't think it has anything to do with this scam.

Nothing here either from my order. I will wait and see like the others above. Luckily AmExp will refund if it is a scam....

At the bottom of my order page that was emailed to me in the lower left corner is their 'refund policy' link.

Here is part of it...

I got my charge of $13.97 dollars refunded by American Express, and they are doing a Fraud Investigation according to the customer service phone representative. That was after I explained of others here posting that the website disappeared, and my receiving no response after sending an email inquiry.

I guess if a deal is too good to be true, then it is! But at least I got a refund for all of the charges.

I called Discover yesterday to disputed. I ordered 3/26/19 and nothing just like everyone else. I sent multiple email to them in the weeks prior with no response.

Get new cards (new #) for the card you used on that website too, in my opinion. Since they have your current credit card info/#s.

I used my Chase Costco card. I only use this card for Costco and Costco Gas. I better order a new card, too.

Campers-haven processed the card on the spot and I disputed the charge 26 days later. 5 clicks and my $13.97 was safely back in my account.

For those of you insisting on a new card why in the world do you have a card without online fraud protection? In today's age that would seem very foolish.

I ordered a new card to avoid the hassle. I get pissed everytime I see any fraudulent activity... my card #'s have been stolen more than a few times (and it was from various local businesses). I find replacing the card just gives me peace of mind. The # is no longer valid, nobody can use it, I don't see anything pop up. Just a stress thing for me.
