HK P7, Sig P938 Scorpion, Walther PPK, Glock 43, M&P shield, SA EMP, etc... When I hear suit gun, I think of single stacks.

I think the better question is how do you guys conceal these guns in a tux? Anybody ever tried?

Back in Texas I tried a shoulder rig for a G26. Maybe it was just me but I thought I looked wider than a fridge. My preferred method is appendix carry but I never could get comfy with it while wearing a tucked in shirt.

The PPK is exceptionally easy to conceal. it's a very thin and small pistol. I favor concealment via shoulder holster when the attire permits.

A Gentleman does not need to bother with a semi auto for a fire fight. He carries a Bond Arms Brown Bear derringer in .45 Colt in a vest pocket. A sword cane for backup isn't a bad idea either.

Glaco has a pretty cool shoulder holster, think it's called the executive or something. But for like $120 it was too much to dick around with for something I'd wear once a blue moon

Correct, The Executive. Nice rig but no stability at the draw. I went with a rig from a maker that resides across the pond.

I wear a jacket 75% of the time during the week.

Almost, but not quite. The Beretta was a .25, the Walther was a .32

A true gentleman's gun: the Smith and Wesson 442/642. Your choice of black or silver. Discreet, lightweight, and completely compatible with evening attire. Revolvers don't engage in such vulgar behavior as expelling spent brass all over the ballroom. If you can't settle the dispute within five rounds, you could have applied your deft wit more effectively.

Plastic and a tux do not mix. A well dressed gentleman of means would carry a Wilson Combat Stealth. A well dressed gentleman of more modest means would select a Kimber Compact CDP or a Springfield Armory EMP. Anything less and you're probably wearing red sneakers with your rented tux.

There is ONLY ONE correct choice here, and you'all know It...

For a classic B/W Tuxedo, you must have a matching PPK

I just picked up one of these. Perfect compliment to a nice tux. The cufflinks would work nicely also.

.380 Mauser HSc. Very flat, very compact, enough gun to do what is required. It will fit in a tux cummerbund without a problem.

Outside of a less civilized LCP, that is the perfect gentlemen's gun for a formal occasion.

Guns are not for matching your wardrobe. Guns are for delivering the most amount of violence you can muster upon a lethal threat.

Obviously a Walther PPK is a given because of James Bond but I always thought a compact 1911 like the Colt Defender or SA EMP looked elegant enough for formal wear.
