Simi Valley has 9mm and .45 at least two cases of each. This is the one on sycamore. The one off madera had the same calibers, but to as much. Employee said they were 12 people deep this morning when they opened.

Walmart Cerritos, last night (3/7/13)

looks like over ten, fifty round boxes of .45.
many boxes of .40.
many boxes of 20 ga.
Three guys purchased all the Federal 12 ga. game/target loads (myself included). Clerk said, they have Winchester 12ga. game/target loads that just arrived and would be stocking later in the day.

No .22 anywhere.

Clean EG said nothing at Duarte at 6:15 am. That's funny, because the manager told us at 7:15 am that some people came in about 6:15am and bought the 4 Federal 556/223 100 packs she had.

What really sucks is that I asked one of the stocking guys if they had received Ammo and they said no. Nothing was in the cabinet except for 12G buck shot. I wouldnt be surprised if it was a "bro" deal.

Well when I was there on Weds I actually caught the two guys talking about "doing business if presented with the opertunity" but my experience the last couple of days has been that this Walmart has been one of the most honest in the area. It seems that people are getting them in the correct way so lets keep it that way.

Persistence pays off.

cleanEG, Actually we talked to the store manager and she is the one who sold the 223/556 ammo. Her story was that only background checked and employees who have taken a state test can sell ammo. She said that there were 4 100 round packs. I person bought 2 and 2 others bought 1 box each. She did the sale.

Thanks for the info -- next time I'll ask for the store manager to help me out... I'm a total newbie and just bought a Marlin 795 for a weekend BLM shoot next weekend and have been on the hunt for 22LR for the last week or so ... Thanks again...
