i'll admit im somewhat of a grips whore

i'll have 4 and 5 different sets of grips for anyone of my guns

i have 11 different sets of grips for my 3 Ruger GP100's

im doing better though, fortunately my last 2 S&W revolvers i bought came with 2 sets of grips each, one wood, one rubber so no immediate urges to buy anymore

having polymer framed guns would probably save me a lot of $$$

I found Vietnam war era GI surplus black plastic grips for $9.99 for my M1911A1 , the ad said these were made for the US NAVY during the VN war.

and never took them off after putting them on 25 years ago, they are the best grips Ive ever had, very tough carbon plastic just like the stuff they use on M16 bayonet grips

they never get loose, like previous wood grips I tried , cheap GI plastic grips are my favorite, tough as nails.

I’m too gun poor to afford proper training so use matches few times a month for my “training” outside of a lane.

Half my guns are stock and half are modded to some extent. I like to switch up my comp gun. Current rotation...TRP full rail, m&p9 pro, g17, g19, sp01 and hk usp45 match, AR9 pcc

Safety feature, sight picture and recoil pulse varying allot in my selection but that also what makes it fun. But the foundation is the same.

To gun poor? You go so much money tied up in those bikes, kids and eating out youd be about to afford a person Costa class.

I keep my CZ's stock but I do own a bunch of different grips. Have an extra set or two for my Buckmark's as well.
