took my son shooting for the first time yesterday
I took my 7 year old out shooting for the first time yesterday. He got the safety lesson first and was a natural. i let him shot my daisy legacy 2201 that was given to me from my grandfather 20 years ago. it is just a single shot bolt action. his first 6 shots were in the bulls.

Excellent. You're creating memories that will stay with each of you for your lifetimes.

Way cool. As the other giys have daid, building lasting memories and imprinting solid skills.
Just got my 15 yr old out for the first time and had a blast. The 7 yr old was flamming pissed, ready to shoot but under the age many ranges allow. Schutz |

I hope I'll be half the dad. Good job, man. You've turned him onto a skill that will stick with him for life. Brings back tons of memories.
I'll never forget the first time my dad put a rifle in my hand.

Took my 10-year-old to The Firing Line in Burbank last night. This was his first real exposure to shooting. He was a bit tentative at first, but then settled in like a natural. 200 rounds later, his only question was "when can we come back?"
