I know it doesnt make too much sense now, but take these terms to google and you will learn alot. PLUS there will be enough brains here to pick at as well.

btw. at this time I am not allowing spectators who are not accompanied with a builder so that I may have room for builders; however when the date gets closer if there is room I will accomodate lone spectators.
Thank you...

Default One (1) to attend.

Count me in! I would love to attend on March 13. Could you send payment info via pm?

All I have so far is a Tapco receiver flat and rails. Kinda wondering what kind of parts kit I should try to get before the build. Something easy to start with. I saw the reply up above in this posting, but there's so many kits out there and companies selling them. Never built up a parts kit before, and don't want to get screwed picking up some rusted junk online. Basically, if you had to tell the newbie builder what specific model/condition/price/company to go with on a kit, what would you say? Any recommendations? Also, what else will I need (rivets, CA compliance parts, etc)? Sources/websites for it? Thanks!

Guys don't forget to bring wd40 and break cleaner for yourselves if you plan on blasting and parking your gun.

Gonna have pulled pork sandwiches for lunch and pop.

The last time I did mine I ended up using one complete can of brake cleaner to get it clean. To be safe I would bring 2 as the stuff isn't all that expensive.

Just to show off here is mine from the last build parties (it took me 2 parties to complete)
