Default Mossberg 590A1 in jail

I'm pretty pumped. Here's a picture during a conjugal visit.

Enjoy!

I swapped out my rifle sights 590A1 stock with a Hogue lop stock and added a grind to fit limbsaver.. Still fits me better than the original speed feed stock.

I absolutely love mine. It seems to just get smoother and smoother the more you shoot it.

Here is my 590 A1. I sold the Maverick 88, I gave my brother the heat shield from my 88 and the tri rail forend from my 590A1. You can see his Maverick 88 in the middle.

Ontario OKC3S or M9 should be next, right?

I assume you added that wood after you bought it? It did not come that way did it?

You are correct, the wood was added after I got it. I originally had the wood furniture on my Maverick 88.

Not good at all. I'm using the bolt from my old Maverick 88. It is working fine, so i'm ok with it. Wish they hadn't closed the BLM land early this year. I wanted to get out and break in this shotgun some more.

I've had a few 500's and they're amazing. I've always wanted a 590a1 or 590 Mariner. I think I'll get a 930 field then start saving for a 590 Mariner. Congrats!!

First gun I ever bought was a 590A1. Smoothest pump action I ever felt after several hundred rounds shooting skeet with it over many years. It was a tack driver with slugs out to 50yds. I prefer the 500/590 to my Rem870 which is a good gun too but not as nice as that Mossberg was. Ended up trading it along with a Chinese SKS and cash for a pristine M1A NM.
