Send a link to a site that shows pics of these colors? Definitely interested... oh and also, we take off sights before sending?

Picked up the slide yesterday and got the gun all back together this morning. Ryan is a stand up guy, he does excellent work, will be using his services again soon.

Dropped off my old tired glock 22 slide tonight. Ryan is super easy to work with. I told him to post some before and after picks.

Do you blast off original coating before adding cerakote?

Actually it really depends. What the sandblastings main purpose is for is to make a optimal surface for the Cerakote to adhere to. For glocks slides the finish is very thin and always blast off the entire finish. Cerakote adheres really well to a lightly blasted anodized surface. When working on anodized projects I look at the condition of it. If it has scratches, rust, or the anodize is wearing, I blast the object and get it to its raw metal state. If im working with a brand new anodized part, I ask the owner if he would like to keep it for added protection under the cerakote. If they want to keep it I blast it very lightly. With that being said, I have run into a anodize that does not react well with cerakote and created a orange peel effect in the finish (Midwest Industries Rails). This company has an amazing anodize process, the hardest to sandblast to raw state by far. Not plugging the company but they definitely on another anodize level then most manufactures.

I setup my blast cabinet to be very efficient and blast at very low PSI.
Most guys blast at 90-100 psi which can alter tolerances. I worked with a guy who been in the blasting industry for over 30 years and he helped me set mine up to blast at 40-45psi. I go even lower when keeping anodize as added protection under the cerakote layer or prepping polymer parts.

Update* Price has gone up starting today at 6:07am. I am honoring price for those have inquired prior. Im including USPS Priority in new price. Also raised my lead time as well to up to 7 days. Most likely I will have it done before then but just in case I wanted to take a break.

All slides that came in before Tuesday 2-28 are completed and shipped out and all owners should have received tracking numbers.

Slides that have come in yesterday will be completed by today and shipped out Friday morning. I am 100% on time so far with my 1-3 day promise Going home early from my day job today to finish this up.

Degreased, sandblasted and ready for Cerakote

Thanks everyone!

Probably got more business than he had time to fulfill - two ways to solve that: stop taking new orders, or raise the price. Can't say I blame him, though I'm sad I missed the earlier offer!

Default THANK YOU!!!

Just got my slides back today. And all can say is WOW!!! I am so impressed with the finish and the quality is top notch, I cannot believe you were only charging $35(minus the ZTS). Can't wait to get the others back. The ZTS came out so good, my wife loves her 42 even more now. Thank you.

Just got my 27 back together. I couldn't be happier. Excellent work and great communication. Will definitely be a return customer. Took a few quick pictures but they don't do the finish justice. Thanks again Ryan!

^ That's pretty incredible work, very clean. I thought the aluminum color would look kind of cheap (who wants an aluminum slide?) but it turns out it actually looks pretty cool!

Did the ejector cost extra or was that part of the slide finishing package?
