Hello all,
The TM jig would have to be modified to fit this lower. We use a heavily modified TM jig at our shop.

The trigger guard may look a little funny at first, but when your hands is on the grip, the flat spot allows your middle finger to rest comfortably against the guard. It is a very good feeling lower to operate.

I have just a few more messages to reply to this morning. I just got a quick email from the guys at the factory. The group buy has grown a little larger that we had estimated, so it is likely getting cut off this weekend. I am waiting for the official word. Please get your orders in soon. I will need to send payment to them this week.

The 308 parts are definitely coming soon. The lpk parts for them have started coming in. The last parts to complete the kits are the pivot and takedown pins. More news to come soon...

Get those orders for the gen 2 lowers in asap folks.

Hello CalGunners,

Ok, the group 1 TR Enabling group buy is coming to a close. I can only accept orders for around 30 more lowers, then we are at the 400 pcs. mark where the order is being cut off by the factory. Again, we are getting the first production lot of the gen 2 lowers. The factory will then ship orders to their other dealers. The group 2 TR Group Buy will start immediately after Group 1 closes. However, we are likely looking at mid July for the next lot. The faster we can get the second group filled, the sooner we will get the lowers delivered.

As group 1 is now coming to a close, I have found that I have quite a few invoices that are unpaid. I know that I need to meet a few of you very soon, but the others need to please submit payment asap.

I'm sorry I don't understand the question as phrased. Group 1 orders have all been placed with me. I am awaiting payments from several CG'ers though.

If you are asking about your estimated ship date, please see the notes section of your invoice. Ship dates are going to vary due to additional services ordered such as engraving and anodizing. The current estimated arrival date here is 6/14 or 6/17/13.

I anticipate Group 2 only being open for a few weeks so that we can get the second wave of lowers in quickly.

Update on the laser engraver: I got great news. The laser will be ready for me to pick up in about 9 days. That puts it on dock on or around the same day that the lowers arrive. We are still looking at a 6/14-6/17 arrival date for our group order. I will get the lowers inspected, sorted and ready for shipment starting the day that they arrive.

I just got approval for the first of the TR Enabling Only Machining Day to be held on 6-22-13. That is just around the corner. I will get the schedule posted by tomorrow night.

Also, I am posting a machine shop search for people here on CalGuns. Due to the late hour, I will get it going in the morning. I want to get you folks in touch with local shops to get these lowers knocked out asap.

Each lower takes about 9 minutes to finish. At our last machining day, our customers were able to get 60 lowers knocked out in just over 9 hours.
