Stopped by San Leandro Rifle & Pistol Range yesterday, asked the duty RSO what wait times were like these days:
-Weekdays 1-2 hours. It was about 1 hour wait when I was there around 11am Tuesday. -Weekends ~3 hours. Indoor pistol still closed. Hadn’t been there in over 6 months, but working on a new AR Build so wanted to see what the wait looked like when I need to take the puppy out to play. |

Not to many stall there so you have to get lucky when you get there. I am not sure why the indoor range is still closed. There was a wait last time I went but was able to drive to Dublin and no wait at the GFOS indoor range.

IMO the outdoor range is - shall we say - not so great but the indoor range is one of the best left in the area. I was told their problem is they have to have one door way in and one out. The way out would have to be into a classroom & that won't work so it will remain closed until they get that figured out or a dedicated exit is not needed anymore.

I second this. I've been going to Livermore lately during weekdays and it's not crowded at all. Never been there on a weekend yet. A way better outdoor range IMO.

Went to this range last Friday @330pm got a lane as soon as I checked in. Steady trickle of people coming in after me , but definitely not like before with a bunch of people waiting behind the fence and in the parking lot.
