Not trying to. You say that the deal was for new manufacture of a particular type, but that is not in black and white. There may have been confusion about that.

It is WEIRD that he would sacrifice his previously good name over a couple bucks.

I understand what you mean. Not trying to be a jerk or anything. If it came off that way, I apologize.
He PM'd me and said what he's going to give me...then asked how many rounds I want in the trade.

Wait, so if someone doesn't specify "new factory" ammo, you feel it is OK to trade ammo with primer strikes and deformed bullets?

I just don't see how there could be any confusion that would lead to me trading loaded ammo of that quality unless I was trading scrap.

I wouldn't trust non-reputable user with little to no iTrader.

Even when I trade or sell, before I take the cash I show them the goods and ask them to check it and if they are satisfy before proceeding.

I have an instances where they wanted more than described

I seem to see a lot more flakes on the forum lately.

That said, the folks who actually show up have been awesome- I chatted for hours with a couple of the guys who bought my rifles

.
Yikes.

First of all, no one has to go looking for questionable private-party ammo when there are places locally like LAX Firing Range/lax ammo dot com... for factory-new or uber-quality! reloads at market prices.

Posted from 20/20 hindsight. lol.

If he's manufacturing ammo and selling it as "new", that's also illegal. He needs a type 6 FFL to do that. Might be worth a call to the ATF.

Going through his posts, he may have purchased the ammo from another Calgunner, was disappointment at what he received, and then traded it to you to get rid of it.

You fail at reading comprehension braddah. The douche bag already had a chance to make it right and basically said tough luck, you should have looked at it when you bought it.

in other words hes a wheeler and dealer..
next time you want to buy something from someone. see if they are only about buying and selling.. or they are actually into firearms and the forum.

Also OP you mentioned that karma was your best friend.. ... you sure bout that?

I have to admit I have only been a seller but the times that I have I have met so truly good people in the transactions I have had. Hopefully this will help prevent another from getting the short end from him.

I'm new to this forum and it's a shame that people are willing to tarnish their reputation over a few dollars worth of ammo.

They aren't really tarnishing anything. They can just create another profile, and remain anonymous. But yes, there are jerks on every internet forum...

Funny & Dangerous at the same time! Never ever "screw" gun owners! This 1 guy lied about selling uppers on Glocktalk.com and he collected about $3000 from about 8 other buyers on line (me $325). We found out he worked for WFB and we got him FIRED! HE also was banished forever working for any banks or financial firms... Neighbors said he got "evicted" from his apartment about 2 months later in Houston Tx. Bad karma!

Guy deserved it. Act like a hustler or thief, get treated like one. Now he better become one, or get FIRED from the hood, lol.
