4/16/13 TR - Elite Armory in Castro Valley

Darkened the doors at Elite in CV when they opened today at 11:00AM to do a PPT. Elite staff was cordial, and a line quickly grew inside their small, well-lit and well laid out store. I'm guessing that word had gotten out to their regulars that they had ammo in stock, as there were decent stacks of .40 (Speer Lawman and Federal, both 165gr), 9mm (WWB), 5.56 (PMC X-Tac) and .223 (American Eagle) in one of their cases. They also had some handguns in another case - HK USP .45c & P2000, a couple of SIG P-series, some Berettas (what I could remember off the top of my head).

What really blew me away was they had a decent selection of mags, including the hard to find SIG SP2022 in both 9mm & .40 as well as the SIG Mosquito. After I finished my PPT, I picked up a Glock 27 mag for myself.

This was what they had when I walked out of there at 11:40AM (printer problems made the transfer take longer than normal, though it is nice to fill out the DROS paperwork on their laptop rather than manually by hand). Check 'em out if you're nearby.

How are the prices on their handguns? They have a glock that I'm interested in, but trying to decide if its worth it to make the trip over there.

Was there this morning springing something from DROS jail. They had a brand new Glock 19 for $624.99 in their case.

Yeah, pretty decent ammo but I didn't see any 9mm

Cool shop with some nice folks. Looking forward to goin back for more ammo and maybe purchasing a piece in the future.

Yesterday I was in there (5/17).....and they had 9mm......I guess just check in periodically.

I see they are pretty active and responsive on their CG vendor page as well as Twitter and Facebook. Shouldn't be tough to get alerts of what's coming in as well as ask them what's available.

I think thats the Manteca Elite in the vendors section....unless I missed the CV one.

They only really update their thread if people have left questions, or they get new stock in. Like parksmart said, twitter/fb are your best bets.
