2013 schedule

I'm looking for the upcoming Castro Valley Appleseed events. I thought I saw a bunch of 2013 events statewide a month or two back but now -- nada!

Am I missing something?

Speaking broadly, the 2013 Appleseed schedule is not yet finalized. Keep checking back, it should be out soon.

Can any of the Norcal crew chime in with more specifics about Castro Valley?

Why yes, I can! The 2013 Castro Valley dates were finalized with the range today, as a matter of fact:

2/16-17
4/20-21
6/15-16
8/17-18
10/19-20
12/21-22

As before, this is the 3rd weekend on even numbered months. We also have two dates at the San Jose "Metcalf" range so far:

3/30-31 KD shoot - previous Appleseeders only
6/29-30 Ladyseed

We may also get some one day shoots there later in the year, but that's TBD.

These and others should start showing up on the official schedule soon. There's some frantic work going on behind the scenes to automate some parts of the scheduling process that been using up a lot of volunteer time to handle manually.

Interestingly enough these are the only 2013 dates you can register for in California. I think we know which half of the state has the organized people. ;-)

There will be another one at Metcalf the last weekend of March.

Coming soon. The bigger ranges are going in first, I think.

There are no events on the calendar yet in Corona for many months...what gives? Are there some coming but just not finalized on the calendar yet or do I have to write out Raahauges as something I can take my boy to in the next couple months??

Rahaague's is in the midst of a major renovation project affecting the firinglines we use there. They are hoping to have that project completed in the next few weeks and then we can work out dates for 2013. Check back, I'll post up here when they are available.
