Was at the City of Industry on about an hour ago.

22 - None
45 - None
9mm - None
223 - None
556 - None

No 12 gauge bulk packs either.

There were a few boxes of 30-06 and 308 from Winchester and Remington. I didn't look at their prices.

I talked to the Wally Manager about how they order ammo. He said that Wally has a new policy in place that prevents him from ordering the same ammo more often than every fifteen days because the ammo reserves are almost out at their warehouses. Each price tag in the case that is turned vertical cannot be ordered for more than fifteen days. When ammo arrives, it is placed on the shelf between 830 and 930pm or at 7am the following morning.
He said that people are bringing in several friends and family members who each purchase three boxes of ammo -- thereby preventing everyone from having a chance to make a purchase under the 3 box limit.

Great idea! I did it with some friends recently - 223 reloads for .270 and a promsie they would return the brass.

I am running out of friends to trade with.

I have TONS of 22lr, 22Mag, and 223 reloads

I might be your huckleberry for 270W and 45acp.

Good plan guys. I would like to also add that if you have a Turner's or another LGS that has reasonable prices on ammo, it would be a good idea to find out the ammo delivery schedules for those shops. For example, the Turner's in Norwalk gets their truck at noon, and by 2pm that day they can tell you what came in (they have a three box limit). There is thread for Turner's as well in my sig. Hopefully this helps those who aren't having any luck with their local Wal-Marts.

Lastly, thank you to everyone doing the foot work.

All gone at 1:30 pm. Employee said everything was gone by 10 am. Lots of pissed off guys standing around.

I always find it funny when I see guys just slowly staring at every box inside the ammo case, expecting to find a box that accidentally got placed in the wrong section lol!

Lol, you know that other day I was at the Simi Valley Walmart when they were stocking a case of American Eagle 223 and a box slipped out of their hands and landed far back in a lower shelf. They never noticed it and you couldn't see it unless you peer down and to the back a bit. So it's possible haha.

I didn't say anything because I thought it would be a nice surprise for someone later. They had 2 cases worth of 20-rd boxes on the top shelf for people to buy when I was there.
