Default Best source of brass .223/.556 ammo in the bay area?

So I just found out that I can't have ammo shipped to me since I'm in SF...doh! Wondering if anyone knows where are the best prices on brass .223/.556 ammo in the bay area. I'm looking to buy bulk ideally 500-1000. My new DDM4 is hungry....

Hit up the Cow Palace gun show this weekend. There are a few topics going on about. I am sure people there saw the ammo deals, if any.

Why can't you have brass shipped to you?

"WARNING: Ammunition cannot be shipped to Marin, Napa, Ventura and Yolo counties, CA; Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento and San Francisco, CA; HI; Chicago, IL; New York City; D.C.; MA; Canada or Puerto Rico. " ...I just happen to fall into one of the lucky few

Brother,

that is "ammunition" (factory rounds)...not brass.

And secondly, where are you quoting that information from? Is that from a certain store?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong!

^^^ Sorry for the confusion, I meant factory (ready to fire) rounds, with brass casings, not steel.
That quote was from sportsman's guide but it seems to be the same issue trying to buy from online vendors.

Try Gunbroker. If it's empty brass, you should be fine.
