Default Fountain Valley Lost Sale

So I go into the FV location to buy and new rifle.

I'm a permanent resident and I'm waiting for my replacement Greencard to be mailed out (they're running 6+ months behind - go figure).

As I just had to renew my drivers license this month I had them stamp my passport with a I-551 stamp which proves my legal status and lets me travel freely etc as it has my A number listed and is embossed the the seal etc.....

The young chap helping had no clue about the A-Number so he went to check with the manager who apparently said they need the card by law.......

"If the buyer is not a U.S. Citizen, then he or she is required to demonstrate that he or she is legally within the United States by providing to the firearms dealer with documentation that contains his/her Alien Registration Number or I-94 Number."

Guess they need to train the manager.........

Drove to another store and they have my new rifle for the next 10 days!

Ian
