Default Powder absorbing moisture from the air?

After measuring and filling cases can you wait a day or so before seating the bullets? Or will the powder in the filled cases absorb moisture in the air? How will this affect things? Thanks

I'm a noob but this is what I do. When I can't finish a batch I put the loading tray with all the powdered brass in a large ziploc bag then zip it up until I can get back to the finishing it up.

Unless your reloading in a sauna or steam room don't think your going to have a problem. If it causes you such concern go to the Supermarket and buy some Press n Seal plastic wrap.

Unless you live in a pineapple under the sea, you can leave your powder in the press for as long as you like, you'll be fine.

Years ago, before plastic, most powder was sold in cardboard canisters or metal cans.
I recently finished off an 8lb. cardboard canister of Red Dot that was made in the 1970's.
Still good.

Why not fill the case & seat the bullet immediately?

It is best to seat right after filling, and I believe powder can and does absorb moisture. Not a good practice, IMO.
