One time i saw a supply clerk kill a guy with an inventory sheet. And then she walked in a fister with a radio she pulled from the cages without batteries. It was so crazy.

I ran into a Pan handler with a sign that said "NAVY SEAL"......I asked him what class he was in & when he graduated....which solicited a retarded look. After he failed to answer I asked him if he ever shot a draeger lar v and he replied "yessir". I kindly told him to ditch the act.

Ummm. . . Its not upside down, non subdued on multicams (?), didn't even know they made velcro colored patches.

Don't get me wrong, that picture is all sorts of wrong, but the patch is right side up.

Yep, but liberalism has whittled the JROTC units down the crapper. I was in JROTC 20 years ago and we took pride in what we did. After I graduated high school my little brother ended up going through the same program and the school had disallowed pushups or yelling as a form of discipline. Now everyone acts like its a big joke.

You guys would have a field day down here. So many military in town plus army surplus shops all over the place. It seems every other person has camo on.

Camo doesn't bug me... it's easy to differentiate between someone wearing camo because they want a pair of cheap cargo pants... and someone who is trying to play make-believe.

Reason I doubt the reserve/nasty girl part is that the original poster claims to be a captain. I just don't see a captain working as a walmart rent a cop. That whole college education plus being a cop. Don't cops make good money in Texas?
Old post but....

Back in 2002 some AF buddies and I were at a gentlemans club here in Sacramento. I was getting a lapdance from a very attractive brunette. As she rubbed her titties in my face, she asked what I did for a living. I told her I was active duty Air Force. She said "oh really?". She went on to tell me she was a reserve Captain out of Travis and a pilot.....she flew the KC-10. NO reason not to believe her....she had her lingo correct, she was athletic and spoke like she had a college education. Even knew the commander of AGE flight there at Travis (what faker would know that?). She asked me not to turn her in for working as a stripper and then turned around and started rubbing her *ss on my crotch.

Totally made that lapdance just THAT much hotter.

I remember it was an event at Evike I was working for a competitor of theirs when it happened. I showed my real SEAL buddy this and he was furious.

I retired in 2010, and there wasn't any patches on the ABU's. But I was out at Beale AFB a couple of weeks ago at the range, and I noticed the 940th Red Horse squadron were wearing red baseball hats in uniform. And I swore I saw some patches on their uni's too. That was one of my old units. Must be a policy change like what you mentioned with SF, Fire, and SERE.

Can't say I've looked at that patch alot, but from my memory, the broader side was on the bottom, and the stripe was top left to bottom right, horse always on top. I looked a bit closer and realized it was facing at an angle. At first glance I thought the broader part of the patch was on top. Then I realized the patch was horizontally inverted? I have no clue, even the picture is all sorts of f***ed up.

And regarding non subdued, I think it might be a ceremony patch. We had a change of command ceremony for my unit and were given 1 ID patches with the red ones. Pretty rare occasion to use them. This or it's a knock-off novelty patch.

^^^ 1st Cav is my former unit. The patch is right side up, just a little sideways in the pic. It's a dress uniform patch, and at least when I was in, was only worn on dress greens.

It's a funny feeling, when your breath catches in your chest, your fists clench, teeth grit, eye starts twitching, and all of the sudden your inner Sergeant Major starts clawing his way to the surface, knife handing anyone in range foolish enough to have their hands in their pockets or walk on the grass...

If you were in formation, generally only the person in charge of the form salutes. At least for the Navy that is true.

Since the guy in the Dress Blue Bravos was of such senior rank and abilities, he should have been in his mess dress since THAT particular uniform is more appropriate for black tie and formal events.

But... form what it looks like, if this guy was still active, then he at least ONE cookie from being put onto the BCP. MOAR PT maybe??? and less coffee and donuts which leads to SWIVEL CHAIR SPREAD!!!

Just my .02 cents

Here is a link of the guy trying to get into a US Marine Birthday Ball in Los Cruces. http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=32804

It was a Navy Master Chief (Corpsman!!!!! God bless each and everyone of those navy personnel, there is a special place in heaven protected by Marines for them) who spotted the FOOD BLISTER and told him to go and pound sand.

The Marine Community is a SMALL and insular community, Even our Corpsman are called DEVILDOCS as a sign that they are part of The Soldier of the Sea.
