Default GPS Help

I've decided to get my first GPS and a set of State PLAT Maps. With all the choices available, my head is spinning.

I've found the hunting maps I've decided to use. They are Hunting GPS Maps-State PLAT Maps. They will provide all public and private property boundaries. The plat map will also provide the landowners info to include trails, roads, rail, etc. I just have to add the guzzler info.

My primarily use and need for a GPS will be during quail and chucker season looking for new areas to hunt. Sure I can use it for some other reason, but not for driving.

Any advise or direction from those who use will help.

Are you asking for GPS recommendations? What's your budget?

I have an Oregon 450T loaded with www.huntinggpsmaps.com and it works great!

Cabelas is having a killer sale on the 450T right now http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/produ...oductId=709847

I sometimes confuse myself by trying to over educate myself. Then I just need somebody to take a baseball bat to the back of my head for clarity.

Thanx Adios. After comparing the different Garmins once again, this deal at Cabelas sealed the deal for me. Using my club points, I walked spending $182.00 to include the maps and instructional dvd.

Thanx Again
