Nice write-up, and shooting. Chasing accuracy seems to be an addiction, or is it a hobby?

Both!

I have, and shoot, both, but they're Spingfields and a Kimber. While I hand load .41 and .44, I do not yet for .45 auto. Nice to see a recommendation for some solid loads in the story. And I enjoy shooting my light weight Ultra CDP II about as much as my two all-steel Government-sized Loaded Parkerized and Loaded MC Operator models.

He says it is worth 2.5K, probably put 2.5k into it - but if he had to sell it, what would it go for - ?

My two 45s are a FNX 45 and a PX4 storm Special Duty.
Because both 1911s ive had gave me problems.
These on the other hand are 100% reliable.
