What is the value of CRPA? Can someone explain it to me?
When 3% goes to shooting programs and over 50% goes to paying for its executive and management staff, why would anyone want to contribute to this organization? Genuine question. I'm not a member.

You would be surprised where money goes in many organizations like this. Unfortunatly, it's too big to be an all volunteer group.

I find the question to be interesting and it might be worth explaining to we who have some interest in joining.
Just what do the dues do? I personally have never seen anyone presenting as a part of CRPA and engaged in an official capacity - actually doing something. That may mean I'm just not in the right place at the right time. . . So what does the money do? 50% to staff may or may not bother me. It depends on what the staff and management are actually doing. It would also be interesting to know if a doubling in membership (and dues) would result in a doubling of personnel costs or if the CRPA is stuck at the point where they have to have a certain amount of staff as a fixed cost and increased membership would result in a decreased percentage of dues going to personnel costs.
