Default Ladies Defensive Pistol Class (for wife)

My wife and I both shoot, competing in steel challenge and practicing a few times/week. I'd really like to find a women-only defensive pistol class for her just to give her the opportunity to do something different. We shot a match a few weeks ago with two other women on the squad and she really enjoyed the day. There are some introductory classes for women, but she is beyond that. I'd really appreciate any suggestions. While were in the Gilroy area, we'd be fine with Sacramento down to LA or in the valley. I'd drop her off and fine a Starbucks.

Check out NorCal Med Tac out of Scotts Valley. I know they have run female only sessions of some of their classes.

if you're doing a Scotts Valley drop off I recommend Peet's...........for coffee/tea.

I've taken a Carbine class with NorCal MedTac which I liked and a Defensive Pistol II class coming up, but the women's class offered appears to be very basic. While my wife isn't mobile, she's very experienced with her (1911) platforms in steel challenge. Needs some work transitioning to carry and, again, I think would enjoy a women-only class. Do appreciate the suggestion.

You mentioned you were open to going to Sacramento for training, on that I can recommend Gray Ops out at Sac Valley Range. They run dedicated Women's only classes, in fact it looks like they have one coming up in Sept. I've taken a few of their classes and my wife has taken classes with them as well (their regular courses, not the women's only). Highly recommended.

Only drawback for you is the closest Starbucks/Peets/etc..., is like 30 mins away.
