Where to shoot around Grass Valley?

Like the title says, I'm looking for a place to shoot in the Grass Valley area. Mom finally took an interest in shooting and finished a "Girls, Guns and Giggles" class at The Range in GV. I'd like to get her some more trigger time without all the noise and distraction.

I know there are a few indoor and outdoor ranges, but I'm hoping for some quiet corner away from the official ranges. I'm in the South Bay and preferring making the drive down to BLM land, but that isn't an option in this case.

Send me a PM if you're worried about making your site too public. Steel targets only (with appropriate ammo) and I reload everything I shoot, so I always leave places cleaner than when I arrive.
