Ahhh, I think that's for the mods to decide. Could be though, could be.

Return? You cannot return firearms. Once you buy them, they are yours until you PPT them.

I bet if you contacted the gun's manufacturer and asked nicely they will send a replacement wrench.

No, Ianus is definitely not FastKevin. I had a PM conversation with Ianus and hopefully all his concerns have been addressed. I apologized that a salesperson sold him the wrong magazines for his ARX, which we exchanged for the correct ones.

Nope, he purchased the California model of the Walther P22 which has a "permanently-fixed" bushing/thread protector, so the wrench is not even included in the California models. If you search the forums you will see Walther even had a recall of models sold in California several years back to correct this as it was an AW by California law with the threaded barrel!

Basically your story is BS and you didn't sack up and speak up that you were skipped. If you had spoken up, we would have immediately served you since you were next. I can post the video footage here for all to see if you like.

That was damn beautiful. Kudos

By return I meant that someone used it and put it back; I am sure that there are plenty of people (siblings, personal friends, co-owners, gunsmith, etc.) that have that kind of access to them; that gun was dirtier than the ones I come back with after a range session.

No shark92651,
All my concerns have not been addressed !
Since you engaged in the PM just to know who I really was, let me reassure you and other "friends" that if you think I get afraid and back down from "battles", then ........ "you got another thing coming".
Upon your very suggestion to call Walther Arms and check the history of the gun, I did so and they told me that they cannot do that (at least legally). But from the coding on the slide, they told me that those models all come with 2 magazines, while I was given only one, as I already told you in the PMs.
You can go and check your video cameras records to verify that, but the point here is that someone "messed" with the gun prior to being sold to me, and that is not good for business .
I have been waiting years to buy guns here because I wanted to move to a less restrictive state where I could buy whatever I wanted. At the end I decided to buy my very first California guns/rifles at your place, because of the good reviews and because I have friends that come regularly to the store.
But that turned out to be not a good experience and I am going to share this to let people know that there is no perfect store (as somebody would like to believe) !

I engaged you in a PM to find out what your issues were and if I could address them (how do you expect us to address a customer service issue when you try to remain anonymous?) I just called and had an employee look at the Walther P22's 3.4" black pistols in our warehouse and they all only have a single magazine included (which is not the case for some of the other P22 models). Maybe this is a mistake by Walther, I'm not sure at this point but we will call and ask them about it. If they owe us magazines we will make sure they ship them to us. That being said, we sold you the gun as it came to us from Walther, you inspected the gun at the time of DROS and you inspected it again when you signed it out. If you were not satisfied with the condition of the gun or the contents of the package you could have raised your concerns then before signing it out and taking it home.

I took time to check your serial number and I showed you that the firearm has only been logged into our system one time, coming in from Walther and then sold to you (no return, no additional records). Your response to that is to accuse someone in our facility of "messing" with your gun, taking it off site and shooting it prior to selling it to you? Seriously, you think that is the case? You are going to believe what you want, but do you honestly think that one of our employees would take a .22 pistol off site to shoot it and then sneak it back into inventory? All our employees already own far more interesting firearms to shoot and we would fire any employee that dared to do something like this.

Feel free to take this back to PM if you wish, but I'm not interested in "battling" you in this unrelated thread any more. You are going to believe what you want and there is no point in going back and forth on this.

I have no dog in this fight - but of the 13 (that I can think of) pistols I've bought, many of them have been dirty - from manufacturer test fire (coincidentally there's a current thread about spent case that comes with guns)... Anyway, I've been a little miffed that manufacturer couldn't clean barrel better (or at all) before shipping - but I've never blamed the FFL for the dirt.

I'm not saying it isn't possible that an FFL has ever fired a gun during 10 day wait or before putting it out for sale, but it isn't very likely... The point is, sometimes guns come from manufacturer dirty - truly

W-O-W
I see there's a tin-foil hat-wearing contingent in this, uh, 'crowd'. So, uh, 'Fastkevin' apparently took the time to sign up for a new account on this forum so he can be STEALTH, then move about amongst you?
Lemme ask you, does he just cruise around, or does he take people's food out of the refrigerator(that's CLEARLY marked with THEIR NAME!) eat ALL but one chicken nugget, then put it back?
I hear he shops at RG on a somewhat regular basis

Seriously?... After all this time, and all the ridicule and getting called out by the owner of RG - you pop in to comment on a benign tongue in cheek post from almost a month ago - and you don't address your original post?

Now that's a real "W-O-W"

Too bad there isn't a "thumbs up" feature here, because I'd use it!
