Default Ar15 help

Anyone near the Corona Eastvale area that can help me with my ar? I'm having issues with the casing getting jammed on ejection. It's a brand new ar that me and my buddy put together. I'm a new guy when it comes to guns so I'm lost right now. The ar would jam every other round. I was told to check the gas block and head spacing? Would like to have someone who is knowledgeable help me with this lol. Exchange for beer or cash?

What ammo are you firing and what chamber does your rifle have? I am in Corona off Lincoln and Foothill, a bit south from eastvale.

Some things to check... BCG travel (it may be a short stroke problem). Head space might be a problem.. Make sure that the gas tube is installed correctly. I see a lot of incorrect gas tube installs at the shop. Also check buffer system. You can bring it into shop and I will put some eyes on it for free.. We do not charge for taking a look..

Okay so, when it started jamming, how exactly was it jamming?
Did you clean it and the chamber and the bolt after the 50 rd test fire?
Was it lubed really well?

It would jam on extraction of the casing, as the empty casing would leave it would sometime turn sideway and get jammed as a new bullet would enter the chamber.

Was the PMC X-Tac or the regular .223? You can do a quick check to verify the gas system is functioning correctly. Load 1 round into a magazine, when fired the BCG should lock back every time. You can do it ~10 times to make sure. If you get FTE at all, you can start at the gas system, otherwise move on.
