Being about as late to this thread as possible, how far out does this " range" area go in yards? Is this place conducive to last minute throw your crap in the 4 runner car camping?

What are some specific examples of things we can use as targets without spending a lot of money or having to break out my toolbox?

I'm thinking of scavenging for some cardboard boxes but I'd need an awful lot of them.

Most use carboard boxes, old paper signs, old metal targets. But make sure you take back what you brought.

As for camping some bring tents, others rvs and some sleep in their cars.

It has begun...!!!

4/11/2013 Update.

Our fellow members Ramrodjan55 and Billsinca reported back from the site just a few minutes ago. They are parking the motor homes as we speak.

The Eagle has landed....!!!!.

The spot has been secured, nice weather, light breeze, clear skies, perfect zombie hunt conditions.

I'm getting reports of more Calgunners at the location.

Standing by and ready to give credit to our members who kindly volunteered as early birds to secure the spot.

Follow up.

Our first AZ brothers have crossed state line late this afternoon.

Our NV brothers will cross early Sat morning; Texans expected to be there early on Sat. morning before and just in time for the National Anthem.

More to come......

I'm leaving around noon hoping to arrive in Barstow around 1:30 -2:00 for lunch and our last time to use a flushing toilet for the next 3 days. If anybody who hasn't been to the secret spot wants to caravan from the Del Taco area tomorrow around this time, shoot me a pm so I can wait for you guys there.

RamRODjan55 and Billsinca brothers, be advised and expect some company early tomorrow morning.

Since your are veteran zombie hunters, can you please help me and pre-delimitate the firing line for all of us?.

I have a bunch of travelers heading your way, can you please instruct the fellow members as needed.

Thank you.
