The p226 mk 25 is on CA DOJ roster the last I saw.

I have a question about the 220 Combat that I can't seem to answer using the Sig website. Does it have a SRT or any other upgrades to the trigger?

According to the SIG Sauer website http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProdu...20-combat.aspx product information page for the P220 Combat, the downloadable PDF says that the P220 Combat does come with a SRT (Short Reset Trigger) That's what it says. Check it out for yourself.

Those are Hogue P220 American Checkered G10 - G-Mascus Green.

As for cheaper mags that work flawlessly buy the 8rd ACT mags from gregcotellc.com. His site is down for maintenance till April 1st though.

It does say that in the pdf doc and mine does have SRT with the short reach trigger. Be aware when buying holsters that the combat has the full size picatinny rails so you may have to buy a custom fitted holster or heat up the kydex on a hybrid pancake iwb. The black nitron finish on the barrel will wear quickly such as smilies at the top of the barrel and area exposed to the ejection port and it's normal. I had the barrel and slide refinished by ccrrefinishing.com in their ceri-hyde coating. They had to plug both ends during refinishing to keep the black chrome intact in the rifling of the barrel.

Thanks to you and airman. I was only looking at the specs, did not see the pdf. I have a 226 out at Sig having the SRT and AEP done and did not want to spend that much on a 220 and then have to have that done.

I also have a P6 out at CCR being refinished and looking forward to having it back.

Btw, my P220 combat would not take the old black zipper back mags (made in Ger)

They would not drop free... I had to get the stainless OEM ones.. YMMV..

Mine came with the 10 round mag and a coupon you send in for a 8 round mag. Sig had a shortage at one point which is why they included a coupon on some.

The combat does have the srt. And as for the mags, it usually comes with the 10 and 8 round

I don't see this listed on the website where other variances seem to list the SRT.

Edit: here's a thead about it not having srt.

I bought my combat last year and it came with one 8 and one 10 round mag. How do I check for the SRT? Seems to be conflicting info out there.

Mine came with 1 8 round mag and 1 10 rounder.
Mine did not come with the SRT (short RESET trigger) nor did mine come with the short REACH trigger (they are different but both are available from SIG for the P220 combat).

You can buy the threaded barrel from Sig but I dunno if they'll ship to kommiefornia.

The Safariland 6270-77-61 that was posted to fit earlier in another thread DOES NOT fit out of the box.

The ALS (automatic locking system) plastic wedge with the roller on it stops the P220 combat from even going into the holster....it just plain shoves back the slide.

I removed that plastic wedge (be careful doing this, the screws have RED locktite on them making it extremely difficult) and made a modified aluminum wedge to replace it, covered that aluminum wedge with doe skin and now the holster works.

It's a POS holster though....2 layers of kydex, fake suede lining wth a hard plastic site channel and a fake pleather outer skin.
Do not like, Safariland, I am disappoint.

Have 4 sq. ft. of 12oz. leather on order, will toss the safariland in the round file and make my own that actually fits.

I love my 220. If I could afford to buy another one I would. You're going to love it.

Here's a hint for those of you looking for a holster. Put a light on it. The holsters made for the P220 with light work just fine with a P220 Combat with light. The pistol comes with a rail for a reason.

Also, IMI Defense makes a holster for the MK25 that fits the P220 Combat. I have this one in tan: http://www.imidefense.com/black-poly...IMI-Z1390.html. Works great with no modifications.
