I ordered 12.31 & no email & no notice just still says "in prcoess" and "backordered" in my account. But as long as not cancelled I'm cool.
Got the email today***

Back during the first gun run when Obama was elected to his first term, Cabela's kept giving us rolling 2-3 week promises. They kept rolling over and over and over and over. Then they started cancelling our orders without notification. Then they started making you remember to notify them to not cancel your order every 30 days or so. I finally got some of the stuff I ordered a year and a half later. The ammo was ordered a year and a half earlier with a 2-3 week promise. Don't hold your breath.

Just got an email from Cabelas notifying me that my back order was canceled.

WTF thats sucks ..im keeping an eye on my emails im sure they will cancel all of us soon ..wonder if they can substitute me some of the next AE5.56 batch to make up for it at the same $299.99 /800 price as we have been waiting for. ? Jk.. but really though

I placed an order on Dec 17, 2012. The confirmation said it would be filled late Jan. I then received another notice that my order would be filled in Feb.
Last week I got an email that my order would be canceled if I didn't call or email them in 10 days. I immediately emailed a reply, And they confirmed my order will be processed. Keeping my fingers crossed. Going on two months . . . . |

I got the same e-mail a couple of days ago and I responded to them to NOT cancel my back order. Well, I got the cancellation e-mail this morning.

My order still shows in process, but I decided to call and reaffirm that I want the order. The lady was very nice and told me she was making a note on my order to keep it in place. She said they are receiving shipments, and they are still expecting this to arrive from the manufacturer at the end of the month, although she didnt know how far it would go as they have a tremendous number of backorders to fill. I'm staying optimistic.

at this point i feel it will be a waste of time as they will give you rolling 10 day notices to keep backordered if you fail to respond to any of them they will cancel your order. and even if you do call every 10 days to keep it backordered eventually they will just cancel your order anyways !!
