Thumbs up Armory Racks - Handgun Racks

Made in the USA

http://www.armoryracks.com/

In 2011 RJK Ventures developed the Armory Racks Product line. Armory Racks are a patented high-density space-saving solution for handguns. The racks are designed to allow in-place pistol removal and replacement in tight storage spaces like safes, where space is precious and expensive. The multi-gun models are equipped with sturdy carrying handles allowing easy portability from location to location, like a safe to a display area, or a work area. The carrying handles also double as a means of securing mounted pistols using a cable lock. Armory Racks also can optionally be configured with a storage tray, so spare magazines and small accessories can be stored below the pistols, providing easy access.

Available at: https://www.rjkventures.com/

Our web site contains more information, dimensions, and several pictures http://www.rjkventures.com

We manufacture many styles of single gun racks for use in display cases, on walls and under shelves. We also have several different sizes of multi-gun Armory Racks for 2, 4, 6 and 8 guns with Storage Trays and protective hanger coatings

Our web site and FAQ contain more information, dimensions, and several pictures.

Hi,

Yes, they will hold a .22. The dimensions are 4 3/4" H x 16 1/2" W x 8 3/4" D - without handguns. This red circles on this picture show Ruger .22's.

I'm trying to order one through the above link and I'm getting error messages telling me to contact the seller. I'd really like to have one of these. any help would be appreciated.

Message says, "PayPal cannot process this transaction because of a problem with the seller's website. Please contact the seller directly to resolve this problem."

Very cool!

What are the rods coated with? Is the muzzle crown area protected from damage - particularly on .22's?

Thanks,

Todd,

The metal hangers have been rounded off and we use a powder coat finish. I have been using the racks on my personal collection for a few months as we were getting ready to launch and have several .22's and .25's on the racks and not run into any issues.

In the recent gunmart review they took a look at this as well. Here is a link if you want to check it out.

http://gunmart.blogspot.com/2011/06/...and-carry.html

Here is a pic of what the hanger ends look like without the red cap.

Here are some more pics with large frame guns. The racks themselves are 4 3/4" H x 16 1/2" W x 8 3/4" D - without handguns

The bottom pic has 48 handguns on 6 Armory Racks. This fits in 16 1/2" of space. 8 1/4" is about the correct distance between shelves to enable you to get to the guns in the back without having to remove the rack including large handguns.

I also have a lot of pics here: http://www.armoryracks.com/Pictures

Shawn,

Thanks for the feedback. I have been looking at this, especially in CA as our inventory is located here. I have no intention to make money off of shipping. Stay tuned.

Thanks,

Nice rack and I agree shipping always sends it into the not worth the price category, but expect to see it at gun shows, and gun shops for the online price.
I would also be interested on the dimensions on the gun safe shelves pictured.

The dimensions of the rack are 4 3/4" H x 16 1/2" W x 8 3/4" D.

This is a Liberty Franklin 50 that measures 72.5" x 42" x 30.5":

This is a Browning 39 that measures 60" x 40" x 28":

If inside dimensions are needed, let me know. I can ask for measurements. These are both customer safes.

I have looked at a couple of different shipping options specifically within CA. I can switch carriers / class of service and see how things go. This will reduce shipping costs specific to CA. For those that order, I would greatly appreciate feedback on how the boxes arrive.

Thanks for the feedback,
Ryan

Can you tell me how high it would be with full size 1911 seated. Not sure if I'll have enough room.

Shawn,

A full size 1911 on the rack in it's shipping configuration is 6 7/8" high. This will allow the tray to sit under the guns as seen in the various pictures. If you don't use a tray the hangers can bent downward pretty easily and you can reduce the height requirement to 6".

Thanks Ryan for the super fast shipping. This handgun rack fit perfectly in my safe. I posted a little review in the Handgun section.

Good looking product. I personally do not like the idea of only a layer of powdercoat between the steel rod and delicate crown of my pistols. I would suggest offering some sort of coating. Perhaps plastidip the rods, or run a length of heat shrink tube over them. Probably would not work for .22, but larger bores should have plenty or room.

Got my rack and love it!!

I have been searching for a better way to store my pistols. Explored all kinds of options and nothing i found did anything for me. I saw this rack and had to try it. Biggest factor for me was that it holds 8 instead of 6. I also liked how I could take it to the range and set it on the bench with a cable lock through it.

My biggest concern was how it would handle my hand cannons. They're long and heavy and would that make it fall over. No Problem, See pic Rack1.

It holds everything very well and fits nice in the safe. It really free'd up a lot of room in there. The powdercoating was a little thick for my S&W 22a-1 and scraped some off. For the bigger calibers, I just slid some new motorcycle fuel line over the metal dowel and snugged up the fit a bit. Not totally necessary, but had some lying around.

Great Product! Great Service! Now I have to buy more handguns and order another.

Got mine today. Thanks!!

I like it, it's a very nice product and worth the money. I had to drop my top self down to make it fit.

comment- for a final touch, it would be nice if the tray came with a felt liner or one of those non-slip things.

thanks again!!

Our shipment of 4 gun racks arrive in about 2 weeks. My plan is to update the Cal Guns store as soon as they arrive.

We usually ship same day and most folks within CA are getting their racks within 3 days of ordering.

The Neoprene sleeve is a user add-on, but I would be more than happy to install them for Calguns members. If you let me know via e-mail at orders@armoryracks.com or in the instructions box at checkout we can do it. When the coating is applied the smallest caliber that will fit over the rod is a .30.

I would be happy to arrange for pickup in So Cal.

yes. It can be self installed with a heat gun on all or some of the hangers. Here are the instructions and what it looks like.

Thumbs up

just ordered an 8 rack with tray and sleeves. Looking forward to de-cluttering at least one shelf of my safe.

EDIT: For all potential buyers, just FYI Armory Racks customer service is outstanding! I made a bone-headed mistake and ordered through the regular website AFTER reading this entire post regarding calgunners special pricing...I know...duh... I shot Armory Racks a quick email to see if it was still possible to get the discounted pricing. Within minutes, I received a reply (on a Sunday evening no less) saying that they would apply the discount AND install the neoprene sleeves too. That's pretty awesome. Thanks Armory Racks. Didn't even get the rack yet and already have had a great experience doing business with you.
