Default FTS Mount - Aim Compatible?

I want to order the Primary Arms 3X Long Eye Relief Red Dot Magnifier with the Flip to Side Mount. I know these are raised for the Eotechs.

My question is, will this mount too high if running an Aimpoint instead of an Eotech?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks Brett whom just replied to my email:

Posted for others reference:

That is correct, the Eotech tall magnifier mount will sit too high for use with any Aimpoint setup. If you have an Aimpoint at lower 1/3rd cowitness height we do offer the Burris pivot mount that is lower 1/3rd height as well as the American Defense AD-SM-01. For absolute cowitness you will need the 3x LER magnifier with the AD-SM-02 and you will not be able to run a rear back up iron sight with that setup as the magnifier will sit too short on the rail:

Lower 1/3rd-

Swing Off Mount - Lower 1/3rd Height AD-SM-01

This fits perfect on both micro h1 and aimpoint pro I have that are both co-witness height. It looks a tiiiiny bit raised from looking at it from the side, but looking through the optics it is crystal clear and you can't see anything you shouldn't.

On the other hand, my eotech xps3-0 you can see the top of the eotech through the 3xs which is very anoyying. (Which is what I originally wanted it to fit for, and PA suggesteted this for my eotech when I called, but it's too tall) luckily I have a small handfull of quality optics to switch around with. The aimpoints worked

I'm using the PA 3xs Long eye relief with the ad-sm-01 mount. (They have a package)
