Yeah, the only part left would be the fcu and that's not worth $200.

I don't believe the 365 has a self contained removable FCU like the 320 does.

That would be great. The cal conversion isn't something I need at the moment, but swapping back and forth between iron sights and RDS, and playing with grip size, would be.

I don't have one but everyone on sigtalk is talking like it does.

It's a good idea - manufacturing costs would be cut like crazy. The same fcu used for every model, etc.

If true, that makes the 365 even cooler in my opinion. I need to move to free America soon.

The P365 definitely does have a removable self contained fire control group.

If you don’t believe it, check YouTube and you will see people removing it.

So what is next - a Glock 48s?

I got to fiddle with one yesterday. Very nice safety. Very positive on and off and it doesn't get in the way of anything. It's officially on my list.

Well thats just not true. Both the 365 and 365 xl are perfectly legal to buy as a non LEO californian. It may be significantly more challenging and expensive than if you were LEO. But that doesnt make them "not allowed" to be bought.

For some carry applications, such as a chest pouch while bicycling off road, a manual safety is a nice feature. Or if not desired, don’t turn it on.

1911's data dump on the P365

I really like the P365. The striker trigger is very nice, smooth take-up to the wall, a bit of creep, but very accurate. I have run multiple perfect score qualifications with mine.

The stock Sig-light sights are nice, especially the HD green circle front. Sig sights are really hard to remove with a brass punch, but not so bad with a proper purpose built sight pusher.

The 12 round magazine really works well with the grip and gives you 13 rounds of +P 9mm if needed in a very concealable package. The 15 round magazine is a bit long, but a good option for IWB/OWB carry of the platform.

Reliability reports are not yet out, I know that the first release had some issues, so I didn't buy in until the second release. Mine has been flawless with duty Range SXTs, Golden Sabre 124-gr +P, 115-gr FMJ and 115-grain Winclean.

I had overheard that the recoil spring assembly should be changed out at 2000 rounds. Last year they didn't have armorer classes for the P365 and it is a must do for me to attend when they have one out here in CA.

Sig has released a flat trigger kit for the P365 - $50 IIRC, and it is not too bad to install. It comes with the trigger, new trigger pin and trigger bar spring. The gun disassembles fairly straight forward and reassembles with a few idiosyncrasies, but nothing too difficult.

The design of the gun is impressive IMHO. The frame is a pretty meticulous machined part (or MIM-ed?) and I do not think disposed to an 80% type DIY setup, as the P320/P250, but someone here in CA may figure it out and seize on that opportunity.

I've had the gun completely apart and back together, not alot of parts so that should make it reliable. I could see Sig making a P320 size version of it by just making the parts bigger/but that will not happen with the M17 being adopted IMO.
