Bought the vepr 23' tactical from Atlantic, then got wood furniture from Rhineland arms and stained and finished it.

This ten day wait thing is bs. But it does give me time to track down an original sling, cleaning rod, and mag pouch. Anyone need a kidney??? Found a Zrak nv scope.

Well just an fyi, estimated build to ship time was five weeks, it took almost eight weeks to get here. Awo said the number of guns on their bench has tripled.

Yep, it's the PO3.5x21P.

It's only a 3.5x and weighs a whopping 2.2 lbs, but the wide FOV is the bee's knees - 12 degrees

Compared to a TA31 4x Acog FOV - 7 degrees

how does it hold on ballistics, most are made for the 5.45. Mine is set to 1000 meters, the AKM one is 800 meters and Ive read the 54r is 2000 meters..

Being the weirdo I am, I bought the AK74/5.45 version - I wasn't aware there was 54r version of the scope?

As far as ballistics go, I haven't been out to the range yet to see how the hold overs compare. But we shall see...
