I will never buy another Spikes Tactical item, as I have a 5.45 marked barrel from them with a 5.56 bore that keyholed at 25 yards, and they wouldn't replace it.

Yes. It's a little on the tight side though so I'm considering doing a little clearancing on the stock, but first I'll just shoot it more.

I just got a standard slant brake, and would I be able to use my surplus 30 rounders? which look old as hell

If you lived in California before 2000 and owned them before 2000.

Edit. I see you weren't old enough. In that case, don't bring them with you unless you block them to 10 rounds.

anyone could have owned magazines before 2000 no matter their age...I have friends who are in their early 20's who have several pre 2000 mags that they had as kids when they would shoot with their fathers...of course yes you would have had to live here before 2000...

this is my bulgy ak74 i just built from an r-guns kit on a ak builder flat and added a triangle side folder. it was all then cerakoted in graphite black.

There is more to it than that. It is a hypothetically plausible (albeit unlikely) that a newborn baby born today could acquire mags legally.

The point is under no circumstance does USING mags > 10rds become an ACQUISITION issue.

Another thing to keep in mind is that when the re-codification of the PCs introduced the "nuisance" term, no matter how old you are or when you got your > 10rd mags they may be subject to confiscation. So be careful with what you bring out.

Are most of you guys making your own Kydex grip wraps? They all seem to fit real nice flush up against the stock and angle cut just right.
