And Oakland.

If a vendor refuses to ship to the City of Sacramento, send them a copy of this:
http://www.hoffmang.com/firearms/Sac...2009-12-03.pdf.
Others have used this and had orders for Sacramento shipped.

I never had a problem with midway USA shipping pistol ammo, 9mm, 45, 40, 38, and 22.

In fact I just got a shipment last week 40 & 22

So midway USA is good to go. Well unless your in sf.

I also by bulk ammo from UnAmmo
Ships fine to calif also

I technically live in LA but can get away with calling it West Hollywood, so never have had an issue with those sellers stating no shipments to LA. I imagine if one happens to live in LA (but lives close enough where the shipment won't be screwed up), stating that you live in Culver City, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, etc your possibilities for buying will greatly be increased.

Palmetto State Armory is asking for FFL for ammo. But they shipped 200 rounds to me in July. WTH?

They must be confused or do you live in an area that does not allow it. Maybe you should email them and ask why.

This law starts January 1st. Reloading supplies are excempt. Loaded cartridges is illegal. If I get caught buying out of state and they want to push it I'm in trouble. So now apply value to my actions. I saved 2 dollars, is it worth it? It is until I get caught, then I'll be saying, wow, why did I do this? To me buy legal. If cost is a real factor reload. Ammo will still be available here legally. I have a gut feeling this law is going to be challenged in court. If not, we deal with it.

And it confuses the 2011 ammo law (which the courts found to be unconstitutionally vague) with the 2018 law.

It was legal in July 2017, illegal after January 1 2018. As far as I know.

Since you're new, you may have missed the date of the post which is in the upper left of the frame. Also, for really dead posts, There is a notice at the bottom of the posting box:

Default SG Ammo stopped CA online sales

I just received an email from Sam at SG Ammo cancelling my handgun ammo order and stating that SG Ammo has stopped ammo orders to California since March 16, 2018.

Any new updates or additions to the list that ships reloading material to ffl 3/COE?

Reloading components aren’t controlled under the statute (unless you’re a prohibited person.)

Thanks I assumed by default they'd be regulated by now.

I'm glad I found this list. It saved me the cost of shipping and about three cents per round for 9mm ammo from TargetsportsUSA. And there's a rebate to boot.
Life is good!

This seems to be a necro-thread, but as of March 2019, SGAmmo will no longer do business with/in California.

Quote:
Sorry I no longer do business in CA. I wish I could help, we had a lot of great clients in CA and I miss their business, however it would pretty much take a major restructuring of this business to take on doing business in CA and I am just not in a place where I can do that

Thank you
Sam

Anyone know who will still sell to 03 FFL with COE? So far, I've only found Outdoor Limited.
