Default Alright, I got my AIM Molot PU sniper today

I didn't feel the original scope was any good, so I swapped it out. What do you guys think?

Go post this up here:

Make sure and keep them all informed on your progress. Be sure and ask them what color of duracoat you should use.

I think you should have tried shooting it with the original scope first.

It's like a little japanese chick with big fake boobies - I'm sure it's more fun, but there is just something wrong about it?!

If you can feel them and touch them, then they are real to me.

I get what you're saying though, and I agree.

i think you took a rifle that is on my "bucket list" and made a morphadite out of it. would have been cheap enough to build 2 from infantry rifles and chinese fake scopes and mounts for cost you paid for a real one. this is all just my opinion tho'

I thought this was about a figurine, or something with the "sniper" title...

That is a nice "sniper rifle"...

I am really thinking about getting me one!

Thought so.

OK, folks, serious note here. His modification is not a Bubba, because it's 100% reversible. Given that, why not put more modern optics on it for actual use, as long as he keeps the original as well?

I would like to see 7.62x54r.net's reaction to it, though.

Actually that's what I am going for here as well. I was selling that weaver PU mount, but decided to keep it so I can swap out a high power scope without any permanent alterations to the gun. The scope is a 44mag 4-12x

If anything, that will help me test exact accuracy of a real 91/30 sniper. Factoring in my ****ty skills.
