Ammo in Norcal (9mm)
Hey guys,
Ill be going from SF to Cotati to pick up my first 9mm firearm. How has the "scare" affected supplies between SF to Sonoma County? I am looking to pickup 500-1000 rounds (I'm planning to practice with my new toy as much as I can). Are there any good places to go within that area atm? What is considered a good price point for that amount of rounds? Thanks in advance guys! |

I would feel like crap for paying $300 for 1k 9mm, but I might do it.
I cant really suggest a place to find it though, sorry.

I purposely took a day off to go up Thursday, the 14th, to pick her up. If that is a day you may be in Oakland we might be able to coordinate.

Supplies are a crap shoot nowadays. Be it at the local stores, online and, even, on CG gotta be fast to catch the deals. Like migueloo said.. this weekend @ Vallejo will be a gun show. If you don't mind long lines that might be a place to check out. But I'm afraid with the announcement of proposed new gun laws yesterday.. Vallejo will be even more crowded. Good luck with your search!!

If your going to Cotati, there's a big5 and Walmart a mile up the road in Rohnert Park. Big5 in Rohnert Park has had 9mm lately but it's over priced, Walmart in Rohnert Park has been a little dry lately but you might get lucky. There's quite a few mom and pop gun stores between SF and Cotati. You can also try Petaluma Big5, Petaluma Guns and Reloading Supplies (they stock a lot of ammo), and there's also Marin firearms in Novato. There's a few more gun stores in Petaluma just do a google search. Good luck and safe shooting.
