Real nice, except they don't let you carry in the park, even on tribute day.

That's great that they still do this. Love Knotts for supporting our families by welcoming us in to their park.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

comment made it seem like it is odd that Knotts enforces such rules.

Wasn't sure if they were doing it this year, good times.

I've gone last couple years and the additional guests were $40/ea. Not bad to get my family of 4 in for $80. Hotel is also like half off or so. We have done the Camp Snoopy wing so Snoopy comes by to tuck in the kids and the little ones love it.

Just clicked the link, extras went up, $48 in Dec and $42 in Jan.

Some of us don't like being unprepared in a worst-case scenario. It's not politics, it's just avoiding being complacent.

On the not eligible list: Retired Fire and Police

Oh, well. The day after we retire, we are not good people anymore. No off roster guns, no high cap magazines, and no Knott's Berry Farm.

I would always rather be armed, but I respect their private property rights. I was able to lock mine up at their security office inside the park. The only issue was that when I was leaving, there was a long wait for a guard to come back and retrieve my 417.

Regarding the price increases, if you haven’t been in a few years you will notice the park has had some serious rehabbing done. Much cleaner and nicer, with some good new rides too.

I would have preferred they not renovated Mrs. Knott’s Fried Chicken restaurant, as I loved the old version. But the food is still just as good.

Not a political issue or statement. I don't go places where I can't carry, except the post office.

I dont live paranoid and let outside factor run my life. You only live once and this is a good deal, maybe set aside your principals on the issue and go enjoy life this time.

I happen to agree with shojivic - I guess that makes me "paranoid" too?

SH1T HAPPENS. Period. If you have ability to prepare for it and choose not to, that's on you. If you don't think sh1t ever happens, the flip side of the paranoid coin is Head Up Ash... All the percentages in the world that something won't happen means Fuc& All to the person(s) that it's actually happening to...

We went for free on Wednesday. I got to bring a guest. Parking was $20 and we had to have the loaded funnel cake. Pretty cheap day for a theme park. We had a really good time. The park is almost empty this time of year and we did most of the rides with no wait or just a few minutes wait to get the front row.

We didn't want to drive home in traffic so we went to Medieval Times and did the dinner show. Also worth doing if you never have and it's only a mile away from Knott's.

Not paranoia. I agree with shojivic. While I always appreciate LEO appreciation nights, I weigh them heavily. A ton of LEOs in one spot with nothing to protect themselves, their families, or others?

Are you LEO, by chance? Iím all for enjoying life and do so on a very regular basis. LEOs donít live in paranoia; we live in preparedness.

^^^ Boom. 'Nuff said. (And btw, I do enjoy life! Ha!)

(Edit: HB, don't get me wrong, brother. Thanks for sharing the info. I didn't want to come across as unappreciative of a discount. I had merely forgotten that Knott's has a strict weapons policy. Therefore, it's just a personal preference. That is all.)

Military Veterans is free too, 12/2 to 12/19. Last year it was packed and not fun especially if you go towards the end of the promo. In 2017 the first day was the best.
