I have 750 acres that I live on. My mother owns 5600 acres a 2.5 hour drive from me. My sister and BIL have 400 acres 3 hours away. A close friend has 600 acres and another 2700 acres around 6 hours from me. I hunt all the above places. All of them have houses to sleep in. My hunting costs are very low. Itís also not uncommon to shoot deer and hogs from the porches of the houses and many shots from stands are well under a hundred yards. I donít hunt with budget/cheap rifles though for three basic reasons although from what Iíve seen they are plenty accurate.
1) they are just ugly to me
2) I donít like DBMís which they pretty much all have
3) they have tiny ejection/loading ports which I canít stand

I donít shoot past 300ish yards. My least expensive bolt action rifles are two Vanguard S2ís. Some may consider them cheap but I donít compared to a 783, Axis or RAR.
A Tibetan monk walked up to a hotdog stand and said, ďMake me one with everythingĒ.
