Does Sac Sherriff send CCW approval letters by mail?
A friend of mine has been waiting several months for a decision on his CCW application. Amber replied to his email request for more information regarding the status of his application and told him his letter is in the mail. He's excited, but I have a concern it is not an approval letter, since I recieved livescan instructions and approval letter by e-mail, when I obtained my CCW. Any experiences with regular mail? He's pretty excited. I'm hoping it's not a denial.

The e-mail sent to my wife after her first appointment was never received. Amber said that there are issues with gmail and Hotmail accounts. After I contacted Amber she sent the approval via email and snail mail.

True that. I waited an extra month for my approval and e-mailed her about my status and was told my approval e-mail was sent a month ago, which I never recieved. I did get a new e-mail with all my docs attached, the next day.
I'm a g-mailer too.
