Default Cal expo gun show, laser engraving

I will have a booth at the Cal Expo March 29-30,
My booth should be at 14Wall when you enter it's all far wall on left 4 booths past Cal Gun booth.

I well have the laser on site and offering AR lower engraving at $30 a lower per mag well. Bring three of more and get a deal.

If you have logos you want done please email them to me before the show, so I can save time and have the ready before hand.
Can also laser mags, slides, grips, leather.

Ok, if you have a specific logo you can email it over to me so I could have it ready. Also put up some pictures, it wasn't working before.

It is a CO2 laser so it etches metal, it engraves all other material.
I can set the speed and power for depth. But each material is different.

On time wise per square inch it also depends on speed and power and material.

The file you can email to me, it can be in color I see if I can make it usable for the laser.

Will you work on the polymer lower once it has been completed to 100%?

Do you have a web site that shows all of the logos you offer?

If we want to bring a logo- what format should the logo be? Gif, JPEG, pic

On what media? Cd, DVD, thumb drive?

I have a lot of logos, but if a logo looks good in black and white 90% of the time it would look good on the lowers.
You can bring it on any of those as I can open them all. It could be a JPEG, I do prefer it in a eps, png file but not every one has those. A PDF would also work.

If you wanted to email me a logo I can advise on how it would look. Also I clean every logo I use and just don't slap them on once I get them.

No sorry we don't do the color engraving, it just the white color from the anodized aluminum reacting to the laser.

Hello sir,

I'm looking to get my paperweight 80% lower marked with my own logo/mark. I'm new to this whole process so bear with me.

Before I do get the etch work I want to make sure I'm doing this in the right order. Should I drill my lower out, then duracoat before applying the etch work?

Any order suggested here?

Thanks

Yes you would want to finish the coating before the laser work. No worries on the questions.

I have a custom thumbhole stock I had made for a rifle that could use some checkering. Maybe a simple pattern on the pistol grip and forend.

I saw you at the last gunshow, didn't have time to stop and chat, I was manning the Calguns booth.

The metal or the wood? On the metal it would just be a dark etch over the black color of the metal. Not to noticeable.
