Default 🌴 Florida CCW Proof of Training for CA CCW Holders 🐻

For those that are California CCW holders and have non-resident Florida CCW licenses, what did you submit for your proof of training?

I have my certificate from my CCW training (from the Firing Line). Would that be sufficient?

For my Arizona (non-resident), all I had to provide was a photocopy of my CA CCW license (front and back). Could I use this for my Florida application?

CA Hunter course will satisfy the requirement.

IIRC, FL wanted fingerprints from an LEA not just anybody. My local LEA still does ink prints, for a fee.

A copy of my DD-214.....

I think Best Handgun training cert will work. He's NRA certified.

Florida wants your prints rolled at a police station (or any LE office). I don't believe your local UPS store will suffice, like it does for Arizona.

I used my CCW training cert from CA and that was acceptable. Also had them mail me fingerprint cards that I took to the local SO and paid less than $5 to have them fingerprint me

Only if the instructor is NRA and his NRA instructor number is on your cert.

DD214?

Alright, here's a twist: has anyone used there Arizona Handgun Safety Training Certification (with NRA Instructor's name, # etc)... for a non-resident Florida CCW app?

From what I've read it should work... or is there a live fire component to the training required?

Live fire is not required.

NRA Basic Handgun or the Hunter Safety course qualify for Florida.
I don;t see why the AZ class would not also qualify since it is taught by and signed off by an NRA instructor.
Give Florida a call to confirm.
