GSSF and CGSSA Presents: GLOCK West Coast Challenge III - Fall (11/17 & 11/18)
On Saturday, November 17, 2018 and Sunday, November 18, 2018 we'll be hosting the The GLOCK West Coast Challenge III - Fall at Burro Canyon Shooting Park (22100 E East Fork Rd, Azusa, CA 91702) in Azusa, CA.
As always, we'll be looking for a platoon of high speed (low drag) volunteers to help us set up and run the event. We'll be running shifts for 1/2 Day Friday (setup), All Day Saturday, and All Day Sunday. As a volunteer, you will earn two entries for each day worked into the special drawing of a free GLOCK Pistol. This drawing is just for the volunteers and the winner will be drawn at the end of the day on Sunday (you do not have to be present to win). In addition, each volunteer will receive a trendy GLOCK Range Officer Polo Shirt, a GLOCK Range Officer Hat, and complimentary gift of their choice from GLOCK for each day worked. If you’re a volunteer who has volunteered both days (Saturday & Sunday), but is also competing, we will do our best to allow you time off to shoot your match (or matches). If you’re volunteering on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday you’ll have the opportunity to shoot your matches on Friday afternoon after set up if you would like. VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION If you're not familiar with GSSF matches here's a nice 17 minute video that takes you stage by stage and division by division. I hope to see you there...

HaHa... Reddy...
I know, I still have your shizzle and fly it proudly at each match. If you need it back, just say the word, and I’ll run it by. I’m sorry I haven’t returned it... |

^^^ Pretty much what this guy said. It's essentially an all day commitment that is a lot of fun and very rewarding. You also get some cool stuff compliments of GLOCK. Most of the GSSF divisions require the guns to be stock GLOCKs. There is an "Unlimited" division which is pretty much where anything goes. The frame however does need to have started out it's life as a GLOCK frame (think no 80%s). |

The sun goes down quicker in the mountains but DST ends in 2 weeks so we get one more hour of daylight. I think it usually goes until right before sunset on Sunday because of tear-down. Saturday we leave earlier depending on the last shooter.
Prepare to be there until 6-7PM latest. At the Spring shoot earlier this year, I remember it was still daylight on Saturday when we left and I went to Krave Burger, bought a huge burger and sweet potato fries, went home, ate and passed out. See you all there.

For the Competition / Match prizes (performance and random) will be drawn 30 days or so after the match when the results go final. GSSF will mail you anything that you win.
For the Range Officers, the first gun drawn does not require you to be present to win, and will be drawn on Sunday evening after the match.

There is typically, a Gentlemen doing custom hearing protection. The CRPA, and Young Marines have both had booths in the past. If you know of any businesses interested, please send them my way. |

I wish I can help, but I only do the match. Sorry.
Question: since there's a GSSF registration fee, do I also have to pay the Burro Canyon entrance fee? Thanks in advanced.

No, the only fee's are paid to GSSF. The Calguns Shooting Sports Association takes care of the rest. |

Is it too late to register for a match at this point? Saw registrations must be received by noon Wednesday (today) prior to the match on the bottom of the form yet there are registration hours Saturday - Sunday on the top of the form

There may be a little bit of a line, but you're still good to go. To make things a little easier on yourself come with all your forms pre-filled out. |

I just laid down a 60ish in two amateur divisions (with a 15ish on plates). I hope it's enough. I've been top 5 the last three matches I've done. I'm just right there, but never enough.
