Received today. The ammo can looks strangely empty. I think I need another 1000.

If you don't realize the intent of my suggestion - let's just keep it at bay.

I'm guessing you don't know the definition of the word, or how it's used . This is what it means:

Quote:
slan·der
ˈslandər/
noun
Law
noun: slander

1.
the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation.
"he is suing the TV network for slander"
a false and malicious spoken statement.
plural noun: slanders
"I've had just about all I can stomach of your slanders"
synonyms: defamation (of character), character assassination, calumny, libel; More
scandalmongering, malicious gossip, disparagement, denigration, aspersions, vilification, traducement, obloquy;
lie, slur, smear, false accusation;
informalmudslinging, bad-mouthing, smack talk;
archaiccontumely
"he could sue us for slander"

verb
verb: slander; 3rd person present: slanders; past tense: slandered; past participle: slandered; gerund or present participle: slandering

1.
make false and damaging statements about (someone).
"they were accused of slandering the head of state"
synonyms: defame (someone's character), blacken someone's name, tell lies about, speak ill/evil of, sully someone's reputation, libel, smear, cast aspersions on, spread scandal about, besmirch, tarnish, taint; More
malign, traduce, vilify, disparage, denigrate, run down, slur;
informalbadmouth, dis, trash;
formalderogate
"they were accused of slandering the minister"

Origin
Middle English: from Old French esclandre, alteration of escandle, from late Latin scandalum (see scandal).
Translate slander to
Use over time for: slander
Just as NorCalRT said in a previous post on this thread. There is no law which prevents ammo from being purchased online and shipped to Sacramento. Any statement proclaiming such is not slander, it is fact. Period. End of story.

If anybody needs ammo from a vendor who will not ship to your area you can use the UPS hub in a different city or county for will-call. This is how you do it.

I'm perfectly aware of the definition.

There is no reason to call a guy ignorant... I was politely encouraging you to have a little couth.

What is your reason for wanting to battle people?

Who is being "battled" ? That is ridiculous!

I was accused of slander, by YOU. For correcting another member about some very old FUD. It has been "safe" to ship ammo to Sacramento since 2009.

I also provided a a screenshot on how to do a UPS "Hold for pickup" Will-Call.

I'm being helpful and providing insight on how members can order from "The Armory" in the future using Will-Call.

Your being antagonistic. Your also not contributing anything constructive to this conversation.

Knock it off.

You clearly still don't comprehend the context of the post... And continue to be as belligerent as you were when calling someone ignorant.

Actually I think you have an agenda in addition to being antagonistic.

Here, on the first page of this exact thread, another member calls someone ignorant:

I did not slander anyone, regardless of what you said. I said someone was ignorant, because THEY WERE. Just like another member did earlier in this thread which was ignored by you.

Your an antagonist with an agenda. I've exposed you, we can now all see what you are.

You have added nothing constructive to this conversation.

Get a life.

Sheesh, stop posting these deals. I'm trying to resist!

Just how many cases of .223 do I need? Last time I shot .223/5.56 was 2011 Last time I shot an AR it was in 5.45.

I must have been the "unlucky" one in regards to the ammo can. Physically it is in decent shape with a couple little rust spots, the seal is good but the spray paint is a little over the top. I'll eventually get around to repainting it.

Wow, with all the reports of people getting "like new" cans, I thought I was unlucky for getting a dented/rusty one.

Has anyone else received a can like this? When did you place your order?

I ordered on 8/30. Received it about a week later just didn't open it up. It was a surprise! Not a big deal as I see the can as a bonus for the price. I'll get to painting it in the next couple of years! haha

Jestr, I felt bad for you and I wanted to see if that is the current quality they are shipping or if your life just sucks, so I ordered another can. Will let you know if mine looks as clean as the first one.

Personally, I hope these damn things go OOS soon or I will end up broke.

I got the PA 120 can one over the 50 cal can. The PA 120 one looks larger, does anyone know how many boxes of wolf gold will fit in a PA 120? I'm sitting on about 1250 rounds with another 1k and the PA 120 coming in.

ALL GOOD!

I thought my order was one of the earlier ones but who knows? I'm tempted to place another order but I just picked up a generator on CL in preps for El Nino! Maybe next month.... If I'm (un)lucky, it it'll be OOS! haha

that paint job is kind of cool, in my eyes. a conscientious soldier at work.

if it really bothers you, try some acetone to remove the paint. should get it all off, including the original yellow stencil. the green should be fine.

You can fit 2080 rounds, or 104 boxes of 20 round wolf gold. Maybe slightly more if stacked different than mine or unboxed. Here is a crappy photo of 2k in a PA120:

I can only fit 2040 in mine, but might as well as it is getting a bit heavy and unwieldy to move around with that much ammo inside. Plus, my storage racks height are set up for .50 cal cans, so these would have to sit on the floor!

Did any of these resonate in the least?
