Default I've used air guns, before powder burners, and still do. Here an unboxing..

On America's premier airgun forum.

The Yellow forum. I just got a Daystate Air Ranger in .22 set at 35 foot pounds, with a full shroud.

I'm on this forum as an airgunner and recreational shooter, so I haven't really let anybody know on this forum that I'm also a rapper from the Bay. I've been rapping since 98, got serious about it in 2002, in 2004 I started getting well connected and since then I have worked with several Hip Hop legends from 2pac's old group the Outlawz, Snoop's crew Tha Dogg Pound, former artists from Death Row Records and many more. Anyway when I was selected to become a contestant on the American Airgunner TV Show, I went in to the studio to do a song that no other rapper or any other artist from any genre has ever done, a song about airgunning. This is a family friendly track on a West Coast style beat and it's a way to reach out to others who are unaware of our sport. If you don't like rap, cool, it's not your kind of music, I still think you should check this track out just because. Please leave the comments clean and friendly, no hate, opinions are welcome though, just no hater comments. Here's the link: http://www.myspace.com/music/player?sid=93310932&ac=now If there is a problem with that link, just log on to this link instead and hit the play button: http://www.myspace.com/mrloco/music/...unner-93310932

I'm hoping so. They said they might use it when they introduce me on the show and I told them if they want to add it to the DVD box set as bonus material or a bonus CD, they could go ahead. They all liked the song, so hopefully, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed and praying for the best. It would definitely be a good look. Glad you liked it Big Sipper!

They sponsor the TV Show, so I added them in there because of that and also for maybe down the road get them to sponsor me somehow. They are not my sponsors yet though...

You mean "chops" with 100 round drums sprayin out the window lol? Not when I'm trying to do a family friendly and educational song and really I don't promote violence in my music. In my other albums I do rap about street related topics, but I don't glorify or promote it, I talk about what the real outcome is to that life when I do rap about it. I'm at a different point in my life though now when it comes to what I talk about in my lyrics, I get more political these days and have more mature raps. I've been recording rap songs since I was 17 and I'm 32 now, I'm no longer that young hard head doing stupid stuff, I'm a grown man with a family, trying to do positive and live a good life.

I was very bored yesterday so, I took an extra Fastfire II and a old mount and put it on my Umarex S&W M&P 45 CO2 pellet gun.
After sighting it in at about 27 ft. I fired 24 pellets rapid fire into a 6" paper
plate @27 ft.

yeah, kinda figured that with that laughing smiley face in the end of your post, it's cool. I just wanted to say what I said anyway though, because there are those who think that about us rappers though. It's all good Osis32

Default Full Auto Airgun Shooting

Wow it is good to see so many airgunners on this forum. I am trying to drum up some interest in the full auto airguns that I sell and created my own thread.

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=770420

Someone was nice enough to point me over here. I have already seen 1 person mention the guns I build but since I am trying to rally up some sales I figure I need to mention it again.

For full auto shooting fun check out these.

Loco45 - Your song was sick. I bet you could make a pretty sweet music video for that song. If you ever do let me know I would love to see one of my guns in it

Hey man I would love to make a video for it! Matter of fact, me and my friend are planning on making a youtube show for airguns pretty soon and we just invested in a 7D camera! Keep in touch with me and let's make it happen! I love those Drozd's but unfortunately they have been out of my price range and also I'm not a fan of the batteries needed either, but I would love to shoot one, and maybe in the future own one. They look sick and I've been on your site before and saw those Swat versions and stuff, sick stuff man!

I will definitely keep in touch. When you are ready to shoot your first airgun video let me know and I will lend something cool for the cause.

Go this a few days ago (.22)
Was frustrated about squirrels eating all the fruit in the back yard. Now they should know better.

Much better than .177 pistol I had (Ruger mark 1), which was pos.

Same problem!!! i was cool with them in the bird feeders but they ate EVERY SINGLE PEACH AND APPLE!!! I have the colt pistol in .177 and let me tell you....damn...I must have hit this one squirrel in the soft spot on the head....jeeez I didn't think it would do that. I snapped a pic but I'm not sure I can post it here lol

I do need something that'll go to the end of my yard though, the pump master and the colt don't reach over 80 feet or so.

Yeah, I only have a .177 Benjamin break barrel gun and its range is fairly limited. All though within 25 yards, it is as accurate as some stock .22lr.

Nice, they are renowned for their accuracy. Great choice not to fool around with low end pistolas.

The rifle is very accurate with the red dot, have not noticed any shift in POI although I shoot at 30 yd max.
The scope that came with the rifle is complete garbage, loose internals would not hold zero at all.

I have a Turkish made crossman pellet rifle .177 and a nice x9 scope on it. This thing is way accurate! I can shoot it in the backyard all i want and no issues, okay, one issue my brick wall is starting to show some wear now with all the .177 leads hitting it lol. This thing is so accurate i hit a gopher at around 40yrds with it and did what 50 dollars worth of poison couldent, killed that little SOB! I think if the our country goes down the toilet we can still take it back with air rifles lol.

Thnx. I did my homework before getting this and paid a pretty penny for it. The trigger is amazing on this pistol and I love the single pump.

Went to the range today and brought my Umarex Steel Storm, fully automatic CO2 .177 cal BB SMG with me today and had a few people askin about it. I love this gun right here, I went a total of 600 rounds through it and tore a target up. I was gonna settle after 300 rounds, and I snapped this picture, then later after I was done shooting everything else I went an extra 300 rounds. Can't wait to order the new Steel Force, that gun is even better!

Funny you asked Loco45. It is enroute to my address. Already bought the 40co2 cartridge and BBs at Walmart and temptation got me between the XBG and the defender. There were 3 xbg left and 1 defender. So i gave in to the defender to find out if you check the walmart website its $38.00 not $50. So im going to return the $50 defender and order Walmart online but will be a store pickup or I will get the XBG for 200 rounds per co2 cartridge. decisions decisions. I sold a couple of my model airplanes today so i got some cheap air rifle money! Lol

I have both the XBG and the Defender and while the XBG you can get 70-80 more rounds / CO2, the Defender is more accurate, it's better build quality and hits a bit harder. The XBG has a drop out mag and extra mags are available at walmarts and online stores everywhere, they use the same mags as the Crosman C11. I was gonna say I like my Defender better, but I'm not really sure now that I think about it, because the downside with the Defender is that the mag is fixed. I like both guns a lot, but the Defender is the more accurate and better build quality of the 2.

i'v e been into air rifles for years (30)

i have taken a lot of small game with them and now i've gotten into the .25 cal...very impressive by any standard.

my next one will be a 9mm or 357 PCP

my single biggest complaint is with the 'big bore' PCP's shot count, normally, goes down per re-fill

Arizona now allows the taking of big game with air rifles as long as they're at least .32 caliber.

What kind of gun do you recommend for taking out snake if needed? I'm going to Red Bluff soon and I heard there's rattle snakes. I got a .22LR that I was gonna bring, but I was wondering can a .177 CO2 pistol like the Crosman 357 or a .22 like the Crosman 2240 could do the job?

Loco45, can I butt in? Why don't you use a 410 shotgun or how about your steel storm? My father in law asked if he could open the box for the steel force before I could get home form work. So I finally got hold of it tonight. It looks nice and compact. I'm still trying to figure out how to open the mag. The illustration s vague. What's weird is that the Umarex USA website doesn't show steel force.

Unfortunately I don't own a shotgun, but I was thinking about using the steel storm at first, but do you think 430 fps in .177 is enough power to kill a rattle snake if I needed to? If it is, that's great, I've just heard snakes can be really hard to kill. They have small brains and very tough skin. I do have a .22lr too and I know that will do the job, but because of the ammo situation right now, I'm trying to find alternatives. If the steel storm would work, then probably my Crosman 357 would do the job too because it fires pellets at the same velocity.

That's cool you got your Steel Force, you mind uploading a pic later? I can't wait to get this gift card I've been waiting on, that gun is going to be one of the guns I purchase for sure, along with a Hatsan Striker 1000s in .22 Cal

Maybe try practicing shooting a pork chop with the thick skin. If the BBs penetrate then it should penetrate a snakes skin. Lol

LOL, yeah. Not that I'm a species-ist, but I was shocked when you said cat!

Rats on the other hand, give me a machine gun.

Last two years, I had a rat (different ones) take a nibble out of each ripe tomato in my garden and then crap all over the deck.

Some good ol' fashioned rat traps solved that, but still, that's one animal I have no problem shooting.
